Ew, no, I despise them. My personal man-scent is much more effective anyway.

I hate the smell of most of these "LOL IT'LL HAVE GIRLS PILING UP ON YOU" body sprays for men. I was curious what the big deal was so I smelled a few of them in the store once, but clearly it's just a marketing ploy because the stuff smells like shit. how else would they sell it.

most colognes and perfumes I don't mind, provided that they don't have musk in them. I despise the smell of musk. it's generally what makes the scent smell so potent. it makes me sad that I can't find any vanilla perfumes that don't have musk in them ;_;

also as long as people don't practically bathe in it, it's generally not too offensive. I don't think you should be able to smell any of their perfumes or colognes unless you're standing fairly close to them. it's only supposed to make you smell, not the air within a 6 meter radius of you.

Colognes, body sprays, and perfumes all tend to smell equally rancid to me. Even in small doses I'm not fond of them, but if I can smell you before I see you, that's a sign to ease the hell off.

Honestly, I won't be sad to see more places take up a scent-free policy in the future.

For example, a cologne would smell really good in Florida but after that umteen hour flight to asia, you get off the plane, get a blast of hot and humid tropical air in your face, and you spritz that cologne you bought on you, and then you end up smelling like grandma/grandpa. It's tough.
Try B&B's "Juniper Breeze." It's pretty light.

But here's a trick:

Since I work in two food establishments, I spray the perfume on my wrists, down my shirt, and ON my clothes. Even after working for hours around food, I still have the light scent of my perfume.

Juniper Breeze is indeed a very nice scent. I'm not sure if Bath and Body Works makes Sweet Pea in body spray form, but that's also a really nice scent.

I don't wear too much body spray. When I first get a bottle, I use it in small amounts quite often, but the smell eventually gives me a headache after a week or two. I remember that there was a body spray phase one year. Every time I went into the locker room at school, I would be on the verge of passing out. There were countless different sprays being used, and the problem was that the girls were spraying the stuff into the air and then walking into it. That, of course, made the tiny, inadequately ventillated locker room turn into one of the foulest smelling things I've ever come across.

So do a lot of places at my university, a lot of government offices, and some businesses. Officially scent-free policies are usually to have consideration for people with allergies and the like. But hey, if it means fewer guys will be enveloped in a cloud of rancid cologne and fewer girls will smell like they bathed in Sears' entire perfume section, bring it on.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Sure I use Axe. I hate B.O. Yes I'd even prefer smalling like an incense stick over smelling like I haven't showered (when I have!).

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Nay. I just use my Gilette deodorant. Whatever works, even if it comes from the inventors of the silky, smooth shave. My brother uses one of those body spray stuffs. I also point and laugh at him.

Am I missing something here? Is body spray different to deoderant?

I'd be quite suprised if nobody used the stuff to be honest.

I tend to notice a lot of girls at my school using the same type/scent of body spray (Bath and Body Works, Victoria's Secret, etc), so I try to stay away from them. There's a spray I picked up while overseas this past Christmas that smells vaguely of flower petals. It's a unique scent that isn't too strong.

The difference between deoderant and body spray is that deoderant makes you smell good AND is an antipersperant, whereas if you put on body spray and work up a sweat you'll still smell like BO.

I tend to associate body spray with ignorant white thug wannabes, because I find they love the stuff. I have some in my cabinet, but it is rarely used. As for cologne, I love the way it smells, but I rarely wear it, only when I know I'm going to be around females for an extended period of time. I have this Armani Black Code stuff which I got for Christmas. It smells like a spectacular citrus extravaganza. Prior to that I used my dad's Polo cologne, which smells like gentleman.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
