Body Spray
It's like everyone is using body spray now. There are so many brands too. Axe, BOD, Old Spice, Adidas and so many more.. Who else is guilty of wearing body spray. I was hooked on Axe for a while, but now I use that Old Spice stuff.
Smells like shit to me. Like chemical dried up orange peels. Old Spice pure sport gel sticks all the way.
I've never used it myself, but I have wanted to try it to see what the big deal is all about. There are so many of them though, that I wouldn't even know where to start. Maybe I'll just go into the store and start spraying all of them in the air.
I use Body Spray, but only after P.E/Gym. I often use Axe.
I second the only after Phys.Ed. comment. And then sparingly. That stuff is horrendous if you use too much. The best use of body spray in my opinion is idiotic yet very entertaining spray fights. Good times.

Well, I use some Axe, but only after I do an exercise or something. Better to smell like "dried up orange peels" then B.O. Heh.
Axe for me. Something quick to put a little on of with the stick if I have to skip the shower because I'm running late to class. :ashamed: Or maybe some before going out with some girls. (No, I don't believe in the "Axe Effect".)
Am I wrong or is body spray just for guys too cheap to buy cologne.
I use Gillette Gel anti-perspirant and JPG cologne when I want to feel good (the one in the blue and white stripey bottle). That stuff smells beautiful.
I used to use degree-shower scent body spray. It smells good, but I generally go for regular deodorant or gel sticks.
Back when I was in gym there was a guy with a locker next to me, who used the stuff religiously. I just never had the heart to tell him that he smelled like B.O. & cheap cologne. It smelled like he just came from a strip club.
Moral: The stuff is not meant to be an anti-perspirant. |
I've never used body spray. Just slappin on some Old Spice High Endurance is fragrance enough.
Old Spice: Glacial somethingorother is my type. Dry solid, smells nice, stays on. I hate the Body Spray commercials to no end. And it inflicts how I buy their products, which is to say I don't buy 'em.
I hate how strong they are. Seems everyone I come across who has it on them doesn't have the slight scent to 'em. It's suffocatingly strong. I use Old Spice and cologne (either English Leather or Azarro). |
I never like using the gels or dry solids. Gels wear off too quickly and the dry solids leave gunk the ol' hairs. The High Endurance stuff is a wet solid (my description) I can deal with -- and yeah, it is strong stuff.

For me, it's the Pear-smelling body spray. Although it does "something" to some men. I get hit on more when I wear that..... |
I like the idea that you write it as "who here is guilty of wearing body spray" like it's a bad thing. Yes, I am guilty of using spray that makes me smell a little nicer, jail me for my heinous crime.
As for the type I use, it's Sure. |
Everyone smells like fruits nowadays but I don't know if that's a good thing. I tried using Bath and Body Works' Country Apple 'body splash' and these bees kept hovering back to where I was sitting. Now I stick to the not-so-strong-smelling perfumes, which is really hard to come by since tropical weather screws the original scent of any perfume, cologne spray, etc.
For example, a cologne would smell really good in Florida but after that umteen hour flight to asia, you get off the plane, get a blast of hot and humid tropical air in your face, and you spritz that cologne you bought on you, and then you end up smelling like grandma/grandpa. It's tough. |
I'm guilty of polluting the air with these products. Every single day i have to wear some Impulse Instinct body spray. I hate not wearing it. I like to smell nice. I only use subtle stuff though. Not like full on perfume that makes you want to gag 'cause that's just nasty
Okay, I'll admit it. I own tons and tons of Bath & Body Works body sprays. So what. SO I AM GIRLY. WHO CARES. ;_;
I like a lot of the scents, and while they don't last all day, they make for a temporary freshening-up if you have no time. I keep little travel-sized spritzes in my bag in case I have to show up someplace and I need to be presentable. I am a smoker, though. So I guess anything to cover up the stench of smoke on me is acceptable. ^_^ |
