GFF D&D CONTEST EVENT

Quoted for preservation! Since Pang did not define "whoever", I'm sure Acer will win this contest event

There's nowhere I can't reach.

John Mayer just asked me, personally, through an assistant, to sing backup on his new CD.

I assumed I would have been disqualified for telling him on AIM to get his ass in gear for the right time frame an hour ago, but even then that's too much to ask.

To the contrary, the contest was founded on the assumption that you'd all hound Acer into posting.

Did Garr manage to land a single blow during that fight in the end? If not, surely there's an achievement for that?

No, he did not, because Acer's post did not actually enter the game thread until after midnight despite having created it in in the OCD thread several minutes earlier.

(Arguably no one could have won because Acer's post was created and then deleted several times in a sequence of events I am choosing not to consider suspicious at all*, so the actual timing of Acer's response post is kind of up in the air.)

*because I really prefer not to speculate on the notion that someone would cheat at D&D. That would be sad.

So Pang, how much useless things can I stuff into that wagon before the wheels (and the horse) give way?

8,000/8,818/8,960 pounds of junk? Awesome

How about the horse? How much can he drag and remain at speed? (Garr's sheet say strength of 20 = 1000 pounds, so the horse's strength of 19 drags less than a half-ton. But my physics is rusty on how much that is mitigated by the friction-reducing wheels.)

There's nowhere I can't reach.

8,960 surely? As if a fantasy setting like DnD would use New World crazy person measurements.

I suspect the exact definition of a 'ton' is a moot point. I'll be damned if I can even fill the wagon with a short ton-load of junk...

Exempting the heavy Player characters and their existing inventories, of course.

Though I must admit I find it strange you would consider the metric ton to be the appropriate medieval measure, compared to the Ye Olde England land gross ton...

I didn't bother checking my post, sorry. I glanced at it and assumed you meant 4 lots of 2,240 pounds, and picked the wrong option, i.e. a proper ton, or 20 hundredweight.

So, small errata update:

The Cleric power Righteous Brand has been nerfed, but not in a way that actually effects Gheth. Originally it provided a bonus to ally attacks equal to your STR mod, but now it simply provides +3. Happily, Gheth's STR mod is +3 so uhhh this reminder is kind of unnecessary!

Zerg, Guardian Arrow appears to be safe; replaced the crop from Dragon with a proper power card.

This has been your March update for "Pang, Why Have You Crippled Me?"

Huh, so it looks like the nerf only affects Paragon to Epic-tier (ab)use of Righteous Brand then, eh? I can't imagine you'll be using at-wills at that level though, since you're bound to have some real sweet encounters and dailies by then...

I am glad I get to keep the controllerish power! What's the source of your power cards, Pang? They look completely different from the one generated by the character builder.

You underestimate yourself.

Cal will steal the houses themselves if he damn near has to, I'm sure.
Hush you. Pang hasn't set any limits on wagon volumes. Stealing houses would be pushing his largesse ;___;
