Nominating Skills for one more achievement: First to have 2 characters he controlled (Naked dwarf, doorman) die.
How about first to be voted out of the game by other player opinion?

___

PHB says aid another is a basic melee attack, strength versus AC 10. I want to make sure aiding Garr succeeds, and will spend my Lucky Charm Daily if need be. Does a roll of 8 succeed? (I'm not sure what roll enhancements to add).

Edit: Ummm, you withdraw your answer, Skills?

Yeah, due to ambiguity of wording, I'm no longer 100 percent sure on that.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Very well. Pang, if a roll result of 8 succeeds, then please give me my item daily power back, okay?

Yeah, your Lucky Charm was unnecessary (barely).

Let the record show that I resent having to put unarmed statistics on your sheet for no reason other than that you keep throwing perfectly good swords on the ground.

Also Garr used both his Encounter powers already so I am curious what this will accomplish that a couple of arrows couldn't

Oh Pang, you know I'll never attack any monster on melee. Much less unarmed. Feel free not to update it.

I totally intend to pick up that sword later. It's just that stowing swords takes a minor, while dropping them is free. And my past few turns just don't give me the chance to use that minor

We're not operating on my plan today. I look forward to seeing how it works out too, and relish the chance to castigate the culprit if it goes south.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

No posthumous achievements for the retired characters then?

And I'm sure someone could persuade Zerg to go through all the old adventure threads and add up kill tallies for them too.

I'll get around to it at some point, it's just that keeping it to the new group for the moment forestalls having to slog through the massive clusterfuck that was Hargast.

Nope, that's a bookkeeping job, my friend

Anyway I am sure it's unnecessary. Everyone knows Argumentus has the highest number of kills, while Bob has the least...

Zombie Minions killed by your Hargast barricades don't count, right?

I figured a little RP would help spice things up. I don't want to slow down the pace of the game, but having both the dragonborn thing and the cleric thing running against him, I think Gheth would have to object to torture in full view of him.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Anyhow, isn't D&D the granddaddy of all role-playing games? It's nice to go from a month of hack and slash (which, for the case of an Archer Ranger, is thwip-thwip-run) to roleplay for a bit.

Torture is such a terrible word. Think of it as a less-pleasant shaving experience. Can't have him firing off poisonous quills at us while we're interrogating him, right

Besides, if there's any... enhanced interrogation involved, Cal won't be the best man for the job - having such a piss-poor intimidation and strength score... I suppose he can indirectly go physical with acrobatics...

Yeah.

There's no garbage on the far bridge. Don't have to crawl over Rundarr's badly decomposing feet and whatever else it was I threw out onto it.

Actually I'm pretty sure you did throw corpses out on the other bridge as well. You guys got kind of a fetish for manhandling the dead.

But there's a back door anyway so w/e

That's a good point. So far there's a head on a pike near the door, it's corresponding body nearby, Rundarr boiled in a pot sans feet, a tossed corpse on both bridges, a dehydrated torso near a firepit and a half melted carcass in a hallway.

Oh well.

Waste not, want not.

Pang, it's likely I'll be using this power in the near future, so I'd like to clear up some doubts in advance.

How would you interpret "moves closer to you"? Since it's an opportunity action, does it follow that only voluntary and non-shifting movements are subject to this?

Second, will this in turn trigger opportunity attacks? Let's say 1 square separates me and a melee enemy, and he moves adjacent to me. Will he get an AoO that interrupts the activation of the ranged basic attack?

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
