the exact location : C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
Ive had the problem ..but what used to happen is (very rarely) when i open firefox...everything ive installed for firefox (themes,bookmarks,extensions) all would be vanished....but after i restart firefox it would be fine. Jam it back in, in the dark.
