Firefox Bookmarks disapearing
 

This has happened many times now, and I'm not the only one cause it's happened to people I know aswell, the bookmarks in firefox just disappear.
I now there is a backup of them stored somehwre in the Mozilla Firefox folder but does anyone know exactly where it is?

Some cryptic place on the computer, I know that much.

I've had this problem too, but only when upgrading versions.

Um... k. Well I assumed it's be somewhere in the Mozilla folder in Program files, but I just don't see it.

Anyone?

I've never had a problem like this before, but I'll try to help...

Anyway, ever since the upgrade to 1.5, I've noticed that Firefox makes a backup of my bookmarks and saves them for about 4-5 days. It keeps them in the folder "bookmarkbackups" found in your profile folder, and it's usually found here: C:\Documents and Settings\XXXX\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Ive had the problem ..but what used to happen is (very rarely) when i open firefox...everything ive installed for firefox (themes,bookmarks,extensions) all would be vanished....but after i restart firefox it would be fine.
