Sup guys.

Been a long time since I poked my head in here. The thought came into my head to come back and see how things are going around here. Unfortunately, it seems like I came back to some sad news.

Things have been going alright for me. I'm finally reaching my goal of obtaining a BS degree in Computer Science. Over the summer I moved out to the SF bay area (just 10 minutes from San Francisco) to attend SFSU. I transferred there under junior status and I'm gonna see this through to the end. I'm unemployed now and have had some trouble finding a part time IT related job in the area so I'm living off my student loan until then. I sold my 360 (which is why I'm never online anymore) and parts of my gaming collection to get by too.

I'm also in a LDR with a girl from New Jersey. She's a real sweetheart and she's planning to visit me again next month. I've been out to the east coast twice to visit her and she has been out here once to visit me.

There are a lot more details that I haven't went over but the above is basically a short summary of where I'm at now.

How is everyone else doing?

Sin & Punishment is...

a really addictive shooter. And wow is the storyline random or what. We're like running and gunning to the Shinjuku station, ride the elevator to the top, fight some crazy bitch with telekinetic powers, witness Japan sink and drown in a sea of blood, everyone dies, Saki (who you control) transforms into a ruffian creature thingy and fights the crazy bitch who also transformed, Saki goes crazy and attacks his allies who survived in an aircraft, they escape to a ship which is full of bad guys, the leader of the savior group fights off a furry and the leader of international peacekeeping organization which are from the US, blah blah blah... and eventually you end up being betrayed by an ally and you fight to defend the fucking earth against some gigantic fake earth creature that is the final boss. HOLY SHIT JAPAN where do you come up with this stuff?

I love these short and sweet games that don't take 50 hours to complete. Treasure also makes the best shooters. Can't wait for the sequel to come out on the wii this Sunday.

Because mine certainly did. Just 3 days before I was about to trade it in and get a slim. I went to their website and started filling out the form for repair and it's expired. So 100 dollars to fix it.

Long time no see!

Yes. I'm still alive and hanging in there. Been busy with work and school and I'm actually about to leave for my art history class in a few hours. I'm taking 6 intensive summer units this June/July and at this point I think I've built up 60 or 70 units. I'm hoping I can transfer to UC/CSU within the next year or two. Anyways, I guess I'll summarize what has happened with me in the last 6 months using these nifty bullet points.

Made my first visit to Dave and Busters. It's basically a Chuck E Cheese for adults. Place is pretty awesome and I love hitting the jackpots on the skill based games (like the stacker!)
Made a ton of new friends in the local area. Plus my friend from LA moved up to the San Francisco bay area. We hang out frequently visiting museums, going on hikes, and doing other fun outdoor activities.
I dated this girl for a few months but eventually she turned into drama and constantly played mind games with me. After she freaked the fuck out over me mentioning it was her birthday during a party at my place I decided to just back off. Good thing we never reached boyfriend/girlfriend status, though I wish I could have had a chance to have sex with her. Instead I'm left feeling very horny. Oh well.
Signed up for five more classes the rest of the year. The two I'm doing
this summer are Art History and English Writing 302. The fall classes I have are History, Calculus (ewww), and C/C++ programming.
My car fucked up for the last time. I ended up getting rid of it by selling it to the transmission repair shop (it went out AGAIN) and bought a used 07 Honda Civic for a good price in Daly City near San Francisco.
Planning to have Kairyu come out and visit this August. We were supposed to visit Japan again but that money was put towards obtaining a functional non piece of crap car. So instead he will come here for two weeks and I will show him all around our lovely state of California.
Went to Fanime in San Jose a few weeks ago. It was actually pretty amazing and I enjoyed it greatly. It was nice staying at my local friend's apartment too. Saved us a lot of money on hotel costs. Plus his couch is comfy. :3
Started playing Magic the Gathering with my friends. I don't waste my money on cards though. I just use one of my friend's many decks. I learned how to play at fanime since they were handing promotional decks out like candy.

Gosh, I feel like I'm still forgetting stuff. Anyways, I hope all of you are doing well. It's nice to see that this place is still in one piece.

So I sorta went to furcon today.

I said I never would but I did. D:

And you know, I kinda liked it there. Little bit of culture shock when I first arrived but then I got used to all the fur suits and randomness of it all. I'd say more than half the people there are creepy as hell but a lot of the furries I've hung around were cool nerdy people who are just into anthro characters. Kinda like me.

If anything the con sure brought a huge economy boost to San Jose. Lots of people were there.
