Gamingforce Soundtrack III - Animespot Edition

So, this thread will coordinate the Animespot portion of the third GFF OST. Last year's was kind of chaotic with three discs, so let's go for quality over quantity this time.

Just some guidelines:

Try and limit yourself to at most 3 nominations;
Choose songs that are more recent, since we already compiled a sorta 'best of' collection previously;
Instrumentals are encouraged;
And lastly, keep your nominations at least palateable to the non-anime crowd, even if Haruko Momoi is so darn kawaii

Unless something catastrophic happens, I should be able to provide all the files myself.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Recent songs, eh? In that case, I'll nominate...

"A Song of Storm and Fire" from Tsubasa OST I
"Kaze no Machi He" from Tsubasa OST II
"Bon Bon Bereppa" from Honey and Clover
If that's too obnoxious, then replace that nomination with "Yotsuba no Clover (Four-Leaf Clover)" from Honey and Clover, which may be more tolerable to non-anime listeners.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

3 huh? this should be good. Here are mine.

1.Illaria Graziano - Christmas in the Silent Forest ( Ghost in the Shell 2nd GIG)
2.Fat Jon - Chambers (Samurai Champloo)
3.Yoriko - Break the Cocoon ( Speed Grapher)

Runner Up

Beat Crusaders - Hit in the USA
Yo Reiri : Waiting For (Guyver the Bioboosted Armor)

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I think that Beck tracks will be too "Engrish" for the non-anime listener. Then again, they could be comedic for this very reason.

1. Yoko Kanno and Gabriela Robin - Torukia (GitS: SAC OST III)
2. Toshihiko Sahasi - Shissou (Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid OST)
3. hitomi - Paradiso (GUN X SWORD OST)

I wanna go to a place - Rie Fu - (Gundam Seed Destiny Complete Best)

Kimi no Omoi Egaita Yume Atsumeru HEAVEN - Garnet Crow - (Marchen Awakens Romance)

Happy People - Skoop on Somebody (Bleach)

I was speaking idiomatically.

I would assume OSTs released within the past year.

I would just like to mention that the last Gamingforce OST lacked Naruto and Bleach songs.

My nominations will be from them. Just need to figure out which ones.

I'd put "recent" as the last 2-3 seasons, which translates into about 10 months. Or the whole year, for simplicity.

Le Grand Retour :: Yuki Kajiura :: Noir OST 2
Naruto Main Theme :: Toshio Masuda :: Naruto OST 1
Canta Per Me :: Yuki Kajiura :: Noir OST 1 (yes, I know, two songs from the same anime, but I like it and it's in case Le Grand Retour is too long to be on the CD)

These are not very recent, but I should point out that there was nothing from these soundtracks on the last compilation.

Song: Sorrow Competition
Artist: Hikaru Nanase
Album: Z.O.E. Dolores,i - Original Score Vol.I

This is one the BEST anime instrumental songs I have EVER heard, if anyone wants to listen to it I can upload it to YSI or something.

I'd really like to know what songs were chosen last year so I don't end up nominating a song already part of the previous collection.

Considering that the previous compilation was done on April 15 2005, choosing songs that were released from then until now (a one year period) shouldn't result in any duplicates.

Ok, now that that april fool's day is over and that 'blah' prank is gone I can repost my nominations properly.
Looks like Freddy was a victim of it too and has to repost.

Gundam Seed Destiny OST3 - 01- Aratanaru Chikara to Seigi (Triumphant style is a must)
Tsubasa Chronicles OST1 - 13- I Talk to the Rain (can't forget about mysterious music)
Shuffle! BGM CD2 - 02- Yume to Sora ga Kanaderu Merodi (because violins are so beautiful)

The first two has vocal but it's just playing with the pitches and gibberish so it doesn't matter, for the most part it's all about the instruments.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I know that these are slightly off-kilter for suggestions but I'd like to see a couple of these on the soundtrack

MONORAL - Kiri (Ergo Proxy Opening Theme)
BUZY - Venus Say (Twin Spica Opening Theme)
Sister Mayo - Love Tropicana (Jungle wa Itsumo Hare Nochi Guu)
Minmi - Shiki No Uta (Samurai Champloo Ending Theme)

Best tracks I've heard this last year. And yes, I know that "Shiki no Uta" is pretty old, but come on... Samurai Champloo didn't get a single trank in LAST year's mix. What was up with that?

Uploads to follow soon.

Double Post:
Also, are you guys gonna have 3 discs like you did last year? It was a fucking awesome mix, but it did like an awful lot of music to absorb.

Mitsumune Shinkichi - Ashita he Rozen Maiden Traumend Original Soundtrack

Sahashi Toshihiko - Kuroi Hadou Gundam SEED Destiny Original Soundtrack IV

eufonius - Bokura no Jikan ~memory~ Futakoi Alternative Original Soundtrack - A STORY OF LOVE

GSD has some of the best instrumental music this year. Rozen Maiden Traumend had a few good songs, but most of the best stuff was from last season. I really liked the one song I picked, though. I also wanted to include Futakoi Alternative in some form, but couldn't decide on an instrumental track (too many good tracks) so I picked one of the ending themes.

With the exception of Ike Ike, Tori no Uta and Shooting Star are both disqualified since they were already featured on the previous compilation.

I finally found the original tracklists I wrote (before AxaliaN threw them out) so they're attached here for reference.

(The Miko Miko Nurse theme song by Chu* was tacked on at the end)
