Embedding Fonts in PDF File?
I have a few sheet music files in .PDF format that won't display right unless you have a certain font. Is there a way to embed the font into the file? I'd like to keep it in a .PDF format. I know if the pdf file was compiled with jpgs they'll look the same on any computer, if I can't embed the font, what's the quickest way to convert the individual pages to jpgs and recompile them to pdf? Thanks for any help.
Jam it back in, in the dark.

There's probably a lot of better and easier ways to include fonts to PDF's than this these days, but I remember waaaaay back when we worked on old G3's and Quark, we had a little nifty program called FontIncluder.
Now I come to think of it, I'm not sure if it was only meant to include fonts to EPS? Enough babbling from this old geezer - you can probably find something useful on google faster =P There's nowhere I can't reach. |
