Embedding Fonts in PDF File?
I have a few sheet music files in .PDF format that won't display right unless you have a certain font. Is there a way to embed the font into the file? I'd like to keep it in a .PDF format. I know if the pdf file was compiled with jpgs they'll look the same on any computer, if I can't embed the font, what's the quickest way to convert the individual pages to jpgs and recompile them to pdf? Thanks for any help.

There's probably a lot of better and easier ways to include fonts to PDF's than this these days, but I remember waaaaay back when we worked on old G3's and Quark, we had a little nifty program called FontIncluder.
Now I come to think of it, I'm not sure if it was only meant to include fonts to EPS? Enough babbling from this old geezer - you can probably find something useful on google faster =P |
