That's still fine. Assault Swordmagi get to occupy enemies, and punish them for not attacking the swordmagi via their Aegis of Ensnarement. Sounds like a sticky defender to me
... But... only Ensnarement swordmages get Aegis of Ensnarement. Assault get to teleport all over the fucking place. Plus there's the whole Watersoul Genasi thing where they flow stupid fast. Sup bitches.

Oh, and I'm torn between Elemental Tempest and the Assault Swordmage specific Paragon path, so... there would be even less defense.

FELIPE NO
It was lunchtime at Wagstaff.
Touching butts had been banned by the evil Headmaster Frond.
Suddenly, Tina Belcher appeared in the doorway.
She knew what she had to do.
She touched Jimmy Jr's butt and changed the world.

Ah well, so long as you're occupying the enemies with your crazy moves, so that Cal can happily thwip his arrows unmolested, that should still work out

I actually created an Assault Swordmage in Character Builder for kicks and giggles. He's a crazy tank with higher AC and HP than Garrmondo, and has Aegis of Ensnarement, go fig.

How ya doing, buddy?

But I'm lying to him!

Cal sucks at diplomacy

I'm thinking I may want to move to B15 to prevent Framarth's area attacks from hitting Gordok, should he center it on me. Will I take an AoO from the Devil?

Also, I remember you rolled a secondary attack to inflict ongoing poison and slow before. Was that house-ruled later on?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Well, you'd be firing on it from melee range then, so yeah?

Christ, that's like the fifth mistake you've found tonight.

Coffee THEN D&D, Pang.

Alright, it still hit. No harm done.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Ok. I was hoping not because he last used a ranged attack. Damn natural weapons and my compassion for Gordok!

I'm doing Twin Strike, will that trigger two AoOs?

EDIT: Wait, an attack roll of 4 hits? Daaaamn.

No, you can only perform one AoO per turn.

I rolled for damage, but now I'm not sure how many dice to use. You've used 3d6 and 2d6 on the same occasion, so I guess you do the damage roll against Cal.

OK Fine. I changed the dialogue.

Does Bluff work that way then?

Hey, Pang, can you show me where Framarth is in relationship to G-unit? Maybe even another updated zoomed-out map?

I can't, actually, because none of you have a line of sight to him.

I'm bein' all simulationist.

You know that he went south and was crawling, so it shouldn't be hard to narrow it down

But um....I can sustain/move the weapon without a target, right, Pang?

Right?

Cal's deeper into the tunnel, so at least give us a zoomed-out map that shows everything he sees from where he stands

Looks like if you delay then Glock can sprint over there, call out a target, and then you can use that

I think we'll do it more directly.

Suppose Garrmondo moves, and then uses his standard to charge, ending with Shield Bash. Will he be able to reach Framarth without running?

Theoretically, sure

If he knew where Framarth was

And if it was legal to charge around corners

(I mean either way I'd be surprised if this fight doesn't end today, I just decided to make you work for it)

I was speaking idiomatically.

Pang, small correction. I activated "Yield Ground" as an immediate reaction to the Devil's immediate interrupt. (I was afraid you'd do an area attack centered on where I am, thus kapowing Garr and Glock.) So, Cal should be in B13.

Does it change the map view, if applicable?

Also, I can't think of a single round after the first where we didn't have to work to survive

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Zerg your Yield Ground was trying to shift THROUGH the devil while it was still alive so I kind of ignored that since it was insane

Oh wait maybe you missed where I said that he did come back to floor level, that's probably what it was

awright here's Glock's new POV

Editing goggledatas into this post ASAP

Goggle Data (Wizards gallery is down, no pretty picture for you):

Maximum HP 42, Current HP 24

No disease/poison conditions

Can inflict 2d8 poison damage with Vile Fumes

Oh ok. I thought it would be permissible to double-shift through an enemy's space, because a medium sized creature wouldn't fill up the entire five square-feet space. My bad.

I think that's the most impressive display of going from completely fucked to winning a fight we've seen, without calling for divine intervention.

Assuming Acer doesn't die of course.

Edit: As a matter of interest, when was the last time the party had anything to eat or drink?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

If we can't drop Framarth before Gordok fails his third death saving throw, Cal will eat his longbow.

Edit: Before they slept. They had some meat and cheese I believe.

Yeah, there was a larder a couple rooms back somewhere.

(mind you the fight would have gone ever faster if Zerg hadn't spent 75% of it so far away from the action that his stance didn't do jack)

You should've seen the character sheet Acer submitted before I made some adjustments

+3s and +4s all the way down

Oh and again I've gone ahead and rolled Acer's death save for him so Garr's up

Additional Spam:
Zerg it almost looks like you rolled two separate D20s and then just took the higher one for your attack

You didn't do that, would you

That would be dishonest
