I'm honestly not sure which of my pokemon is my best, as some have seemed more suitable for some battles than others.

..Nobody's getting my "Sir Kills-A-Lot". Or my other "Sir Kills-A-Lot".

As for battling, I had a pretty busy weekend with other stuff, but I'll probably be able to pick up on it again later this week.

When this is all done, perhaps the winner (or top X players) should challenge Miles to a match with their team. Having a title like "leader of all gym leaders" without being a participant in this tourney seems like rather big talk to me.

I think the term would be Champion (or Elite Four if Miles suddenly acquired schizophrenia). He'd have to face those of us with badges if he was willing to make his title official. The order he faces us would be determined by the ranks in the tournament. Oddly and conveniently enough, the total badges made for this ava/sig chain comes out to eight.

But enough with the pointless digression.

The only matches that I still need to complete are with Crash Landon and Xardion. Also, wasn't my name fine as is in the first post? Icy in parentheses rather than as my main name should clear up the confusion as to who I am/was.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Oh, I would like for that to happen. If he honestly wants the Gamingforce champion title he will have to fight the top four that placed in this tournament, at least. And if we were to go the whole nine yards technically he can't fight them until he collects the eight gym badges for this region, err I mean board.

Earlier today I was working on my main comp when the display suddenly turned into a fizzle of blue and white (I guess because I was on these forums when it happened). I haven't been able to get my comp started back up since. ...I'm thinking the problem might be hard drive failure. I have another comp with wireless capability, but I've been having trouble keeping the connection stable. It likes to just suddenly drop after a little while.

Now, while that doesn't interfere with my Nintendo WFC connection per se (since I learned to connect my DS directly to the wireless network here instead of through Nintendo's USB connector), it makes communication a bit difficult. I should still be able to battle at certain times in the following days, but it didn't help to have a day knocked out by this.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Round 1 (6v6):
My setup wasn't built for fighting bug types so I was expecting somewhat of a challenge. And I'm glad I took that precaution. His weaknesses actually confused me for a bit too since I'm lacking some of the recommended attacks on just about my entire team. Luckily for me, I had little to worry since many of his attacks had trouble dealing damage too. Still, with a good amount of damage trades I managed to survive with three pokemon.
edit: Also, lol at my roar attacks :3

Round 2 (3v3):
GB's pokemon actually outpaced me here so I suffered one KO. But after that it turned into a biting sweep of death for his bugs.


Round 3 (3v3):
For a bug user he put up a very good fight! If it weren't for my Sand Veiling setup I would've been finished or swept in a few short turns. Close match but my sandstorm and everything else was just too much!


Match Summary:

You should have heard my "Nooooooooooo!" when Halo came out during your Sand Veil, Kai. He was promptly removed from my party for the last two matches.

I remembered what my idea for a new tournament was. How about we have it so everyone must build a team from pokemon that have to be able to learn one specific move (excluding Rain Dance and things like that)? Like, all pokemon must be able to learn Spikes (they don't have to have it learned, they just need to be able to learn it in order to be eligible).

Or add on to that and make a variety of different restrictions people must follow-- like, say, pokemon must weigh within 150-250 pounds, pokemon must be 2-4 feet high, pokemon must be categorized as red in color, etc.

Hmm as for the tournament idea, I like it! I'll have to think more about it though. I'm sure there's some interesting applications that we can setup as a future tournament.

Pretty straightfoward battle. After KOing his first Pokemon, it was pretty easy from that point on.

It started to go downhill. ;_;

Same result, but I managed to kill one before I was finished. I got lucky with that frozen status.
