Done. And just for future reference, so I could possibly add them all later:

For anyone who posted up JUST their friend code, can you tell me the profile name that you associate with that friend code? In other words, if there's no profile name next to your code in the Wiki, post it up here so I could put them in.

A good majority of the time whenever someone finally gets registered I usually don't have the foggiest idea who the hell they are after the name changes.

Wow, whoever is updating that wiki is doing it fast. Omnislash's code is on there not even five minutes later.

Man, I'm liking this game a lot so far. I really hope that most people around here aren't disappointed with it, because the sheer amount of content this game offers is pretty incredible. On a more personal note, I love how much this game resembles SSB64 when it comes to gravity and the general "floatiness" of characters. The new characters are fresh and fun to play with, the larger characters kick as much ass as they should now, and Kirby doesn't totally suck anymore.

Oh, here's my friend code: 0044-2493-7615. My profile is MAXB! With work, I've barely been able to play this game, so I've only unlocked Marth. If you guys see me online, I'll probably be sticking to Kirby and Ike. Hope to see some of ya soon.

Oh, and I picked something up from Gamestop the other day. =D

Finally unlocked everyone (damn Wolf was a bitch to unlock). Then I realized you can't copy over data to an SD card, so I gotta do everything all over again on my brother's Wii so he can play it as well.
Oh really? It's not like Mario Strikers Charged where it was just the NWC data that wouldn't copy over? That would be a bit of a dagger for Rollins, who unlocked everything also before flying out to the left coast this morning (gonna be there for several weeks). He had expected to be able to copy his data to an SD card...

Anyway, most LOL thing I've been in in this game so far: I was at Rollins' last night on NWC with Miles and Miles-buddy. One of the Miles (forgot character) and I (Sonic) get trapped between two Mr. Game & Watch (Rollins and the other Miles) attacks for a good 10 seconds as our percentage bars just shoot straight up until we're gone. I literally was rolling on the floor for a while after that one. Sup Miles, which one were you?

Oh, and I picked something up from Gamestop the other day. =D
Haha, nice. You got one of those trophies. I didn't win my local one, but it was hella entertaining anyway. =[

Any chance I could get this thrown up on the wiki?

Oh yeah, I also did the DMZ thing and THAT solves my problem (about people having difficult connecting to me)... well half of it anyway.

I find it strange that I'll lag with anyone who have cable for their ISP but not with people who have DSL or Fios. I did a test with my cousin and my brother's friend. My cousin is from Rehoboth, MA and have cable while my brother's friend is from Lowell, MA and have DSL. I'm from Providence, RI and also have DSL. So we're close to each other but I'm more close to my cousin than to my brother's friend (check a map and see for yourself). With my cousin we lag and it varies from okay to bad. With my brother's friend it was almost lag-free. Don't get me started with my brother's other friend who have Fios and he's from Pennsylvania.

So I hope this problem is within Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection because it would sucks that I can only play lag-free with DSL and Fios user.

Oh, my Friend List is almost filled up. I've added everybody but some of them aren't registered. I'm going to get the list of people who aren't registered because if you're not planning on adding me I will delete you off the list so I can have room for others. >_>

My brother and his friends have been hogging the game all weekend, and are STILL playing it, but apparently they're supposed to be leaving today. So once they do, I'll finally get my chance to get online for a bit, at which point I'll add everyone from the Wiki. Currently my username is 'Tai', but I'll probably change it to 'Soske' for simplicity's sake. And to not confuse myself with Tails.

[edit] Added everyone so far, I think. I may have missed a couple of the most recent ones. Also, changed my profile name to Soske.

Been playing this for awhile but it's fun, online got better once I upgraded my routers firmware so I can actually host with no problems with friends and such.

I use the wiimote to play and I'm horrible at it, there seems to be a problem with the jumping on the wiimote, a lot of times it won't really register especially for double jumping I guess it's the reason why I die a lot. My bro uses the GC controller and apparently it's the only way to play if you want to win. I always seem to get fourth placed. It's pretty funny seeing all the fuckups one persone can make lol

If anyone wants to go at it or something here's mine.

Do stickers not apply to characters outside of SSE? It seemed to me like I was getting nice strong hits using Luigi (since he's the one I buffed the most with the stickers) and I had little problem beating characters without having to use a big slow strong character.

Stickers only work in SSE.

It would be kind of crazy if they worked in regular brawls, though it would've been interesting if there were a "Sticker Mode" or something.

Spoiler:
Toon Link is all kinds of broken in SSE and BB.

I was able to beat Boss Battles Intense entirely using just his dAir (the Downstab), spot dodging (The down dodge where you stand), aerial dodging, and perfect shield.

Ah, I guess I just go so proficient through playing that it wasn't much an issue. The game is starting to feel real, like SSBM did. It just took a bit to get back to the feeling. Now I just need my Wavebird to get here and I'll be set~

Time to put in a BUNCH of friend codes....

Is it just me or were Toon Link and Jigglypuff both EXTREMELY hard to defeat? It took me significantly more attempts to get them than any other hidden character.

For me Jigglypuff was no problem to take down. Though I did get lucky and scored a golden hammer early in the match. Toon Link was a different story. One of three things would happen that would eventually lead to my demise:
1) Toon Link finishes me with a Smash Ball out of no where.
2) Dodges like a madman and kills me with a good ol' forward smash attack (this made me feel like a awful player.)
3) I accidentally get catapulted off the ship while having taken 60% damage or so.
Eventually I got him by using a character I'm good at, which was Link. Boomerang and Arrow spamming were particularly effective against Toon Link. Then all it took was smash attack in any direction.

It is called Pity Final Smash. (Bottom section)

If someone gets KO'd a bunch of times they have a chance to respawn with their Final Smash already.

The only way to disable it is to turn off Final Smashes entirely.

Contrary to most others, I found Toon Link surprisingly easy, Maybe I just got lucky. I was using Marth at the time, and it seems that his dancing blade was quite effective at dealing damage, and aerial attacks were surprisingly effective at launching him. You really just can't give him a chance to attack.

Well, I played on normal too, maybe you guys were playing it on hard?

I'm about to get this game in a couple of days hopefully, but, for the life of me, I can NOT find my gamecube controllers ANYWHERE.

I haven't touched the system in like a year or two

How is the classic controller working out for any of you? I'm not about to use the nunchuke and wii-mote for this game, seems a bit too complicated.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I've used all the control schemes at least a few rounds and here are my opinions on it.

Wiimote on its side:

It's rather simple for first time players, but it's really awkward for seasoned players. Grab/Throw is REALLY out of the way (mapped to the + or - button, I forget which), and shielding is also rather awkward to press (it's the trigger on the remote, which, if you hold it on its side, the side of your index finger will be pressing it. It's simple because both A and B are easily accessible as is the d-pad, making move execution easy as long as you're not grabbing/throwing or rolling/dodging/shielding.

Wii Remote + Nunchuck:

Surprisingly good actually. I'd recommend this one if you absolutely cannot get a Gamecube controller. The analog stick is precise and both A and B are easily reachable. Again you'll have to get used to grab/throw (which is A + B, not too hard) and shield/roll/dodge (which is mapped to Z, or the Left Trigger. I think Left trigger was dodge on the gamecube controller too, but I always used the right trigger, so it's unnatural to me.) Otherwise, a solid choice.

Wii Remote + Classic Controller:

This one is also pretty good, but I found this to be somewhat more imprecise, and the analog stick is further away (yes, you use the analog stick to move, not the d-pad) so if you have small hands, this is a no go. The button layout is pretty much unchanged, but since the analog stick is further away, again, small hands won't like this. Probably doesn't affect larger hands.

Gamecube Controller:

To almost all seasoned players, this is the most natural feel for obvious reasons. Gamecube controllers shouldn't be too hard to find unless your looking wireless Wavebird controllers, in which case, since they're not in production anymore, your best bet is eBay.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Considering that I'm not a big fan of Melee, I'm shocked that I enjoy Brawl a much as I do. I think the soundtrack has something to do with it. Except I can't find the 'X Tunnel Scene' music anywhere. Too bad.

I don't have a GC controller, so the Wiimote+nunchuk is what I use, and it's pretty good. My only complaints is that jumping and shielding is a bit uncomfortable.

My FC is 5069-3619-3960 (KSBEI) for those who want to school a SSB newbie. Can someone please add me to the wiki? Also, please PM me if you're registering my friend code.

How ya doing, buddy?

Thanks for the info Omnislash. I have rather large hands so I'll just give both combinations a go for now. I haven't had the Wii for a while, and I've downloaded a few games to it already so I've been getting a better feel for the classic than I have teh nunchuck.

We'll see when I get it I can't wait.
