What's up, Elixir? First you call anyone who uses certain smilies an ''uninformed dumbass'', then you get all pissy when Shin retaliates, call him a ''fucking faggot'' who shouldn't be a mod, and then complain that people shouldn't be attacking you.

Most of those kinds of smilies I almost never see used by regulars, mostly people without avatar/signature combos with low posts use them. Not that those people are irrelevant, per se, but lolsign is sort of ugly. Hell, I think someone even stuck about 20 of them in their signature. Whatever happened to that guy?

Shin's stab was uncalled for, so I retorted accordingly. Basically, if we can't exchange the current smilies, or if we can't show worthwhile smilies (like VG tried to do) this thread won't go anywhere. But like I said, most of them are pretty outdated although is still awesome. I fully support the likes of :mushboom: and coming into the crowd, unless there's a limit on smilies and in that case some will need to go.

It might seem irrelevant but since bobo has been adding bits and pieces here and there to the forums, maybe this can be scheduled in the pipeline.

Besiiiiides, I have much better things to do. Like, for instance, watch people attack me in a suggestion thread in a support forum! I'm really loving this. But most of those smilies Roph posted are pretty neat, I totally forgot about ones like and the rack of bouncing consoles. Which aren't necessarily needed but they're still a big step up from what we have.

My argument here, like the vast majority of my posts, isn't even an argument. This is a support forum for suggestions. But you'll manage to be perfectly able to bring something irrelevant to the situation up, in a way to differ the original intentions presented here. This is not about my avatar, my posting style, or how I'm meant to "present" myself to you. I am not here for your benefit, you fucking faggot.

The majority of these smilies can be replaced easily with others which will be more appropriate and usable on the forums. They don't all need to be original material and made by gamingforce members, but they don't have to suck which is what we currently have. But way to go with attacking me for making a suggestion.

Hell, maybe if you start spraying cool and awesome smileys every where, other folk will be inspired to use those instead of the apparently shitty ones we have here. Lead by example. Let your posts be a shining beacon of tasteful smiley use in an otherwise foggy forum. Use the massive weight of your popularity and influence here to lead other misguided 'tards out of the darkness of poor smiley usage.

You could be the smiley Moses, come to lead the retarded Israelites out of bad smiley Egypt. Or even better, you could be the smiley Messiah and sacrifice yourself so that others might have decent smileys.

Seriously child, nobody forces you to use smileys you don't like. Personally, I think most people's sigs here are eyesores so I turned them off. They don't bother me, I don't bother them and everyone's happy. Rather than getting upset when the poor misguided retards and noobs of GFF use offensive smileys, just be happy and smug in your own superiority and smiley taste. Maybe offer some helpful aesthetic advice in your replying post or send them a friendly PM but there's just no need for righteous crusading as in your opening post.

There's absolutely nothing stopping you from denying what I've said without resorting to attacking. I could always begin hosting smilies and using them, but that defeats the entire purpose of there being a smiley column in the advanced reply section of the forum. There are no "offensive" smilies here, just ones which make the poster look like a tard. They clutter up the ends of sentences and most people don't even bother with them, unless they're new or unless they're relating to sarcasm.

I didn't make a suggestion in board support to argue over it. That's about as intelligent as voting for something and then arguing over why you've voted. It's not the point in the first place. It isn't even hard, all you need to do is replace the unused smilies with the one's Roph has posted.

Hey, maybe if you spray cool and awesome welcome messages around the forum constantly it might catch on. Oh wait. If it's not incorporated into the forum or if there isn't a section for it most people here won't use it. Pom's smilies have been used around here but it's died down now. What you're basically asking me to do is exactly what pom has done which amounted to nothing. Just look at the amount of people who didn't bother with Blah's Serious Business forum.
