My lastest DVD purchase would have to be Dragon: The Bruce Lee story.

Always liked it for the soundtrack and just the total presentation the of the movie.

I bought

Final Fantasy: Advent Children - I watched part of it a while back, but never had the chance to see the whole of it. From what i saw back then it looked really good, and I was one of the many people who also liked the game. I thought that it would be good to see and hear all the characters again. Watched the trailers on the second disc, looks like i won't be disappointed.

X-Files: Season 1 - I liked the early seasons of this, and decided that it was about time i got round to getting this.

Dirty Pretty Things, My Fellow Americans, Amelie, Anchorman, Collateral, Flight Of The Phoenix, Sideways, and The Aviator all for $4 each and Capote, Jarhead, Good Night, And Good Luck., and A History of Violence for $10 each.

So many more DVDs to buy, I've become an addict like so many others.

I also bought the entire Fawlty Towers series on VHS for $12.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

At last I bought Star Wars Trilogy. I've been looking this box quite a time now, and decided finally to buy it.
I also ordered FFXII Limited Edition OST from Play-Asia today. I should never look any kinds of online shops when I don't have much money...

I went on a spree again!
Let's see:

-- Hitchock Tinpack Boxset (includes Strangers On A Train, Dial M For Murder and several other Hitchcock movies)
~So far I've seen Strangers On A Train....and I loved it.
It's the first black & white Hitchcock I've seen and it was just as good
as any of the later "color" movies (Vertigo, North by Northwest)

-- The Woodsman
~ Pretty downbeat movie, but nevertheless a pretty good performance
by Kevin Bacon. (and with a rather taboo-ish subject matter, which is
I always find interesting)

-- Airplane
~ Hadn't seen it in a long time, so I thought it was about time I bought it.
Definitely a classic!

-- Being There
~ I learned about this movie when watching some of the Peter Sellers
documentaries (and the movie with Geoffrey Rush) and it seemed like
a pretty entriqueing movie!

-- Roujin Z
~ I wanted to get this anime movie on DVD for a while now, because I
absolutely love it to pieces. It so much better then all the anime nonsense
of recent times.

-- X-Files Season 9
~ I finally have the complete X-Files series now...Yippy!

-- Stir Of Echoes
~ Heard this was a good movie and I bought it because Bacon is also in it.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Niiice.

Did you get the thinpak version? I have to wait two more days before Seasons 7-9 come out on thinpaks. I'll probably gobble them up all at once.

Sure...no problem! ^_^

Let's see, this box also includes: The Wrong Man, I Confess & Stage Fright.
And it includes 2 versions of Strangers On A Train.....the original version and the remastered longer version.

I haven't seen the other movies yet, but I'll probably begin with Dial M For Murder next (since it includes Grace Kelly and I loved her in Rear Window!).

Yup...another thinpack.
They are still so cheap, that I couldn't resist.

This is also the series that includes Lucy Lawless, so that was also an incentive for me to buy it.

How far are you into the series right now?

Also received the R1 2 discer of Munich in the post although have yet to check out the extras (R2 has nothing more than a making of and a intro by Spielberg

This week I got Saint Seiya: Hades Vol 1 and Lost: The Complete 1st Season, which was loooong overdue (I had to get all 4 available seasons of Alias first).

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Picked up the Boondock Saints & Garden State DVD's yesterday. 'Saints' has always been a guilty pleasure, and Natalie Portman is just too adorable in 'Garden State' to pass up. Besides, they were both super cheap.

I went a little nuts the past week.

Jaws 30th Anniversary Edition - I love Jaws. I absolutely adore this movie, and Best Buy had the 2 disc special edition for $15 so I had to pick it up.

Reservoir Dogs Tenth Anniversary Edition - Still the best Tarantino movie. Better than Kill Bill, better than Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown. Again, got this in a two for $30 deal with...

Apollo 13 2 disc Anniversary Editon - Always enjoyed it, probably my second favourite Tom Hanks movie (behind Forrest Gump).

Caddyshack - Four dollars. I got the 20th aniversary Caddyshack for four dollars. I couldn't NOT buy it.

The Shining - Again, a great deal. This one for eight bucks. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Predator Special Editon - Get to the choppa! Part 1 of 3 for $30.

Speed Collectors Edition - Pop quiz hotshot! Part 2 of 3 for $30.

Aliens Special Editon - Nuke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure. Part 3 of 3 for $30.

Aladdin - My second favourite Disney movie. Gotta snatch it up before it goes back in the vault. Like...

Fantasia 2000 - Found a still sealed copy at a flea market of this. Since it has gone "back in the vault" and probably won't see a release for quite some time, I had to grab it. I'm not telling you what I paid for it.

Toy Story - While 2 is good, the first one is still the best. Maybe my third favourite Tom Hanks movie.

The Usual Suspects - Been looking for a reasonably priced copy for quite some time. HMV had it for $36. Found it at Best Buy for $21. Had to buy it. Kobayashi.

Jesus christ. I've bought 12 DVDs in the past few weeks. Im buying them faster than I'm watching them.

I purchased Seasons 4 and 6 over the weekend, and now I have Seasons 1-6.

I just finished watching Season 1 last night. And I am completely hooked to the series. I love the whole sci-fi, conspiracy, unexplained phenomenon, etc.

Let's see ... other than "Ice,"

I really liked the two Eugene Victor Tooms episodes ("Squeeze" and "Tooms"), which had me on the edge of my seat. My other favourite episodes are "Deep Throat", "EBE", "Fallen Angel", "Darkness Falls", and of course the Pilot and the season finale "The Erlenmeyer Flask" were great too.

I'm a sucker for the UFO ones

Did you happen to get the version that came with some bonus episodes of The Practice? If you did, do you know how many episodes are on there, and which ones?

I purchased the DVD set on word of mouth so at the moment I'm currently on disc 3. 4 episodes per disc and a total of 5 and have seen no reference to The Pratice on the set. I purchased it here which is the most likely reason that extra content was a no-show. I believe Best Buy had this deal the first week of it's release, you may be fortunate enough to still grab one at your local BB.

Here is a useful link for you, 4 episodes of The Practice.

Disturbed - Believe
I bought Decadence not so long ago and thought that it was quite good. So i went out and bought this, plus is was on sale.

WhiteSnake - Best Of
I like some of their songs and when i saw that this was also on sale i couldn't resist.

Yeah, tvshowsondvd.com is where I first heard about this, but they didn't say what the episodes were (though I'm figuring that it's some of the episodes from the last season, those that focus on Alan Shore), so I was just wondering. I have no plans to actually purchase the set, as I really dislike Boston Legal (it just doesn't even compare to The Practice, in my opinion).

Thanks for finding those for me. I compared them to an episode guide, and they seem to be the last four episodes of The Practice. That's good for people who haven't seen The Practice and want to see how Boston Legal got its start, but I want full season sets of the show, starting from the beginning. I know something is in the works though, so I dope that this is what comes of it.

Metal Gear Sage Vol.1 - I know that it was added to MGS3:SUB but it's not out in EUR. My friend bought me it and send to Poland. Many new in formations about my favorite MGS and all other games. Only thing that sux is that DVD is in NTSC and even my mod-chip PAL converter is not converting it... need to watch it on other TV.
