I like the standby mode idea. I'm sick of sitting through intro screens for all my systems. Nintendo is definitely on the right track with this.

I'm not a fan of devices using standby. When I want something off I want it fully off. Especially out here in cali with the high risks of brown/black outs and the surges that come along with it.
Electricity is so expensive too. I dont want things constantly sucking power. =/ Jam it back in, in the dark.
