I'll admit I only worked it out through a process of elimination. I thought a druegar was the goblin bear thing at first.

Pang secretly hankers after a midget butler.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Lurker trying to spank Iggy counts as a grab move right? I didn't notice any rules about the sensibleness or otherwise at targetting a restrained enemy with ranged attacks...

Are there any rules for trying to knock someone out rather than kill them? Not that we particularly need any prisoners now but all this talk of helpless enemies got me thinking...

I was speaking idiomatically.

Roughly how much does it cost to hire henchmen? I definitely think we need some hired goons, if only to use as a human shield.

Additional Spam:
Yeah I sort of don't want to kill Iggy, just make him go home and be a family man.
After we've relieved him of any sharp implements of course.

Plus there's the fact that EVEN LESS PEOPLE WOULD DIE. Turnover? Nonexistent.
I was thinking of retraining Bob's Gentle Repose ritual to something else next time we go up a level as it happens, to improve the chances of someone else ever getting to play but then, no offence to anyone else but I quite like our current party and retraining Bob's diplomacy training to perception training makes more sense from a roleplaying perspective (Since he can't understand anyone's dialects except other elves, diplomacy is somewhat wasted) and would make him a finding treasure master (Well, a bit better at it at any rate).

This is all assuming Bob makes it to the next level and the sweet, sweet constitution improvement that will come with it (It is extra stat points at level 4 right?).

Couldn't have done this anyway; you can only retrain feats, powers and skills. Not rituals.
Ah well, that makes sense I guess as I can have as many rituals as I want can't I whereas I can only have a certain number of normal spells of each type?

Also, does wearing armour innately stop you casting spells or could Bob theoretically train his way up to plate armour proficiency and wear it with no penalty (Not that he's strong enough but just theoretically)?

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Sadly, the advancement tree does not allow for Bob's strength to ever go high enough to meet the requirements for the feat, otherwise I'd be sorely tempted.

Oh well, maybe next time I'll come in as an eldarin warlock who's strong enough to wear full plate.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I take it that although a bow is a two handed weapon, when I'm not firing it I can hold it quite easily in my left hand and punch with my right, right? You're not going to make me drop my bow to get in an unarmed attack is what I'm getting at. If you are, I'm going to edit that for a much longer and sillier decription of Bob's martial arts skillz.

And yeah, by advancement tree I was suggesting that you don't get enough stat increases by level 30 to give Bob the 13 strength he needs to get a proficiency in anything beyond leather armour until it would be far too late to pick up enough feats to get to plate. I shall have to simply live in hope that Pang is gracious enough to provide us with some cloth armour that looks like a suit of full battle plate without the associated weight and movement restrictions. Either that or a more permanent potion of mimicry or something.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

It's all relative Acer. Our party is 40% dwarves and techtonic movement looks quick compared to them. Bob could take the liitle guy in a race.

I was tempted to start shifting round him to get away but I figured staying put and setting up a flank was more useful. One of you guys better save me from a stabbing...

I vote to keep it. That way we can have a fight with some mercs every night before bed.

Or, we could try to barter some information out of the criminal boss...

The bad guys only wanted the sword as proof that Broden was dead, according to the note. If we take it back, we can tell them to keep the reward and that Broden is dead only we're keeping the sword. If we don't take it back, the bounty stays open and people will keep attacking us to get the sword to claim the bounty.

Religious sentiment aside, we would be much better off without half the criminals in the city trying to kill us. We don't have to get any work off him but you never know, he might be one of those thieves with principles who wants to help us overthrow the dark overlords of the city or something. All the best loot comes from bad-guy quests, you've all played KOTOR and Oblivion right?

That's why you leave the sword back at the hotel room with the woman, who's under strict instructions not to leave the room and certainly not to take the sword anywhere or give it any friendly looking guys in sunglasses, duh.

I'm just saying, that we need information on who imprisoned us and if we meet the underworld guy, he might know someone who might want to sell us that information. I don't really care who wanted to kill Broden, I'd quite like to preclude any more midnight abushes by people looking to take the sword in for the reward though. Shit, I can't imagine the watch care too much who killed him either, especially since there's no body and the only link to him are his sword and armour, both of which we're carrying anyway.

To be honest, I only remembered myself when I was flicking through my character sheet the other day.

Haha, I've got that book on enchantment tranference too. Maybe I should use that and learn how to get the magic off Broden's sword onto something we're not going to get mugged for.

I've put Wizard's Curtain in your wiki, good luck finding a use for it
Well if I use it in conjuction with the Silence ritual I've got the makings of a pretty spiffy secret conference going on...

Oh come on, if we hadn't come here then we'd still be walking around with a sword worth a bunch of money to anyone who turns it in, plus we'd probably have swarms of angry halflings after us out for revenge and Bob doesn't like hitting children.

As it is, we've made a solid underworld contact who, in return for running an errand here and there will probably be able to help us out with any information we might need. Everyone knows thieves guilds are the best spy networks.

And Bob get's to play being a highwayman. How much do pistols cost?

Fucking religious types, always ruining everyone else's fun. Anyway, the guy ain't stupid, he's not going to send a group of five combat types to sneak into someone's house and smother them with a pillow. It'll just be a bit of friendly debt collecting or a delivery of some sort, no biggie.

Trust me guy.

I vote we take the money and don't start a fight (For once). I also vote we enrol Lurker as a member of the society (Being a halfling and all) so she can work her way up the ranks until we've got enough evidence to blow this whole organisation wide open.

Right, I vote cave exploring or fighting an entire army of orcs, some of whom are bound to be carrying money. Either that or we could go kill another dragon I guess, they always have a bunch of loot.

Although actually, I'm not overly bothered which we go with and if you guys make a decision over night while I'm not here, count Bob in with the majority.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

We are the Horde after all and I believe the game was made by a company called Toys for Bob, it's pretty much fate.
