I'm absolutely terrible with multitasking. If anyone approaches me to talk while I'm working/playing video games/writing/playing piano I have to stop or everything they say will be in my memory but not actually computed and made sense of sometimes.
I liked to think once I could multitask at things, but when I was working at a restaurant for a while I figured out that things always went to hell when I tried to do multiple things at once. The minute I started doing things one at a time, my work started getting a lot better. Some people have said they can write things while watching something else/talking to someone else, but does anyone find that actually helps them? Just curious. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
