It's quite a shame Kinetic Harvest was pitted against a VVVVVV track in the first round back then, I'm curious how it will do in SotW.
Votes: 3 Points: Radiant Historia Original Soundtrack - Mechanical Kingdom Nicely flowing, melodic, relaxing tune. Personally, I could have done without the violin, but as a whole, this one just clicks. 2 Points: Freelancer Original Soundtrack - Bretonia Space Suite This is the set of background music pieces that play in the Bretonia systems. In the game, the music changes dynamically according to the current situation of the player. 0:00 - 2:00 Ambience: Really nice, moody stuff, I love listening to this at night ![]() 2:00 - 3:02 Danger: Basically just a transition to lead into battle theme 3:02 - 4:11 Battle: Really energetic battle music with emphasis on percussion, great for listening while driving your car at high speed ![]() 1 Point: High-Tension Princess Comedy Special Disc Set HIMEHAJIME BOX - A Princess, Running The melody is a little cheesy, but still nice and catchy. I see you don't normalize the tracks anymore, or maybe only when they're actually posted? In any case, I just wanted to say that the Bretonia Space Suite track is normalized to 83 db, so it's really quiet compared to the other tracks. If you want me to upload a louder version at any point, just give me a yell. More nominations (shamelessly copied Stalky's nomination info from week 192, blame him if it's not correct): Game Title: Madballs in... Babo: Invasion (PC Game Rip) Artist: Greg Drover Track Title: Desert 3 Year: 2009 Source: Madballs in Babo: Invasion - an interview with Scott Simpson, Playbrains President and CEO - San Francisco SF Gaming Lifestyle | Examiner.com, In-game credits & game files Hey Stalky, can you upload your looped and not-super-quiet version of the thing? That would save me some work. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
And I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a louder version, considering how ambient the first half is. I've uploaded the new one to the FTP. And I guess there's no reason to keep the quiet version, since there is nothing original about it, I just normalized it to 83 db so it would fit into my library. I'll try and make sure things are at the right volume for future nominations .There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Haha, it looks like the Freelancer track didn't do all that well.
![]() I guess I'm gonna have to nominate something more melodic from that one next time. How ya doing, buddy? |
