I'm just counting it as part of your reload action (which, as a longbow user, is free).

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

But also:

Intimidated!

Cursed!

Bard Song'd!

Holding a Stance!

Spiritual Weapon!

And the never-actually-gets-used favorite:

Stealthy!

What does "Intimidated" do? Is it like this "Fear" affliction in PHB, where the enemy runs away as fast as it can from you?
Being intimidated is what happens to someone you have successfully used Intimidate upon.

Minor: Retrieve sword, wrap around cotton dress, ignite, throw to Garr
So... for the cost of a minor action, you think it is plausible that I will let you perform 4 minor actions.

I'm going to think about this at great length and get back to you at the soonest possible opportuni—NO.

Additional Spam:
PS: Bards totally have crossbow proficiency but since Glock has a songblade he probably doesn't need a crossbow ever

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Zerg, I'm not going to tell you what you can and can't do but please keep in mind that trading in the organs and hides of nominally intelligent races is usually frowned on by most civilized persons.

Okay, looking back over it I did fail to take into the account 13 damage that Gorg took between the time of the scan and the time I actually posted the scan results. Meaning that, yes, Gheth was indeed bloodied by Gheth's AoO. Sorry about that guys, good catch.

I will get those goggles away from you someday and then where will your precious mathematics be

Yeah, unfortunately Maptools refuses to overlay anything atop the token layer.

Smoke is in

U-5, U-4
V-6, V-5, V-4
W-5, W-4
X-5, X-4
Y-5, Y-4

MILESTONES DO NOT WORK THAT WAY

1. The power doesn't seem to specify melee, so ranged should work just as well.

2. As far as I can tell, Changeling Disguise just continues to work until you do something that makes it obvious you're a fake (or in same cases, failing to do something).

3. 15 feet, and not much of anything other than a loincloth and a collar.

Some of you may notice a new field on your character sheets. Pay it no particular mind.

Please, Zerg. If I let you chip in on achievement ideas Cal would be drowning in the damned things before the week's out. I HAVE SEEN THROUGH YOUR RUSE.

Yeah, your Lucky Charm was unnecessary (barely).

Let the record show that I resent having to put unarmed statistics on your sheet for no reason other than that you keep throwing perfectly good swords on the ground.

Also Garr used both his Encounter powers already so I am curious what this will accomplish that a couple of arrows couldn't

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I'll get around to it at some point, it's just that keeping it to the new group for the moment forestalls having to slog through the massive clusterfuck that was Hargast.

Well, for one thing, Spitting Cobra stance was recently errata'd: I've corrected your sheet with the new version. It's now significantly less powerful since the free attacks are now immediate reactions and not opportunity actions. This means only one bonus attack per round, rather than potentially one on each enemy's turn. However, immediate reactions lack any restriction against being triggered by forced movement. It's a mixed bag.

Regardless, using a bow at melee range is still a bad idea as far as I can tell.

In brighter news, Careful Shot was also errata'd and your Dex modifier is now added to damage! Although the power card is bugged and says Str modifier which would make no sense.

In other errata news, Acer's Rod Of Reaving was also errata'd recently: the bonus 1 point of damage from placing a curse no longer applies to minions (because that would be silly).

There's nowhere I can't reach.

5 extra damage on the attack you use most often seems like pretty decent compensation mr. man

Speaking of retraining I suggest those of you who do have access to the character builder (legitimately or not) discuss available options at Level 6 with those players who don't have access, because my previous system of "screenshot every available option and slap it into a post" is looking veeeeerrry implausible this go-round. Cal alone qualifies for... let's see... over 300 feats. So.

As far as I know pirating the character builder is fairly easy

Here's the November patch on Mediafire, then.

(as far as I know each patch includes all the previous patches)

I'll put up the December patch once somebody leaks it (I'd leak it myself, but haven't the faintest idea how)

I think you just need the demo and the patch and you're set?

Edit: I know it's kind of annoying to have to install software for a forum game, so if you're unwilling or unable (macfag etc) let me know

Zerg, there was no need to rebuild Cal from scratch. Here:

http://www.saxypunch.com/missile/cal_amah.dnd4e

(December patch came out yesterday, it's just a matter of someone putting it out in a form that works for cracked copies)

(Okay actually the language is a little unclear, but if you have an available class called the "Ardent" you're up to date)

My question is when it says "different sources." If I have an at-will that gives 4 temporary hit points to an adjacent ally every time I hit, does that mean they'll only ever have 4, or because it's only one source (me), does it stack?
Well, again, this is an issue that has received some errata to clarify the wording:

Don’t Add Together: If you get temporary hit points and already have some, use the higher value as your temporary hit point total instead of adding the values together.

So if someone has 3 temporary HP, and you do something to give them 5, they then have 5. The concept of "different sources" has been removed from the issue of temporary HP entirely.

Does the character creator thingy cover minotaurs and either way, do we have to use it
No. Like I said, anyone who doesn't want to deal with it can just let me know and just give me an indication of what sort of general areas they'd like their character to improve in. I'm just not going to be spoonfeeding everyone every single option anymore since doing so would require the better part of a week.

I'm happy to do the charbuilding/leveling work if the player doesn't want to do it, it literally takes me 90 seconds. I just figure most people want a little more control over their characters but if not it's not an issue.

Oh, and yes. It has minotaurs in.

How ya doing, buddy?
