Didn't get one. The dog has to draw from a pool of actions he shares with Gabe, and Gabe only had one to spare. So the dog runs over but doesn't have an action left to bite somebody with.

Aw, so I guess the shift wouldn't let me dodge the explosion, huh? =(
Yeah, it pretty much happens instantaneously once the Boomer Corruption Corpse hits 0 HP, so there was no getting away (other than having a really high Fortitude).

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Bob should attack the dogs, since they have zombie weakness
Your strategy is based upon the hope that Shin will get more crits in a battle that's already had more crits than like the entire rest of the campaign

Seriously if I was using physical dice I'd throw them out for being hilariously weighted

There is a way for Bob to escape with his ass intact. CAN YOU DISCOVER IT

I was speaking idiomatically.

Arg and myself are the only ones we can't heal, right?
Actually, as a heroic tier monster, you do have one healing surge. You just need someone else to activate it, since you have no Second Wind ability.

Diseases depend on the subject failing Endurance checks. Endurance is Arg's highest skill. Before Cemetery Rot kills you, it slowly eats away at your Fortitude, so he'd have to fail about 10 checks in a row before he finally cacked it.

If he were to be so extraordinarily unlucky, I'd probably customize the zombie. But I'm not exactly going to bother doing that in advance.

wvlf: yeah, new characters will join at whatever level the rest of the party is currently at. As for Paragon Paths and things like that, I'll allow anything from any of the official 4E books.

I don't really have a plan in place for a TPK considering I just dropped a full batallion of bitey-style corpses on them and haven't even seen as much as a KO. Probably the new party would just continue from the same level, since there's only so much I can do to make "yes, goblins again" seem interesting.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Well, again, since Brady is obviously reading the MM at the game table I'll let the rest of you know what you're swinging at from now on.

Zombie Captain: AC 20; Fortitude 17, Reflex 16, Will 17

Gravehound: AC 14; Fortitude 14, Reflex 12, Will 11

Zombie Rotter (Level 5): AC 15; Fortitude 15, Reflex 11, Will 12

So you roll 1d20 in the dice widget, then add 6 (your attack bonus with the knife, with +1 from Bless). If the total is 14 or greater, then you hit the Gravehound and you can then roll for damage; in this case you'd roll 1d4 and then add 3 to the result.

I was speaking idiomatically.

d7s exist, it's just that their randomness is more than a little questionable.

Yeah, I'm not going to enforce individual rolling at all. For those who can handle it, I do appreciate the help, but the main thing was to have a concrete on-board record of every pertinent roll.

Bob's Shield gives him a +4 to AC and Ref retroactively, for example. If I don't remember for sure what the attack roll against him was (since his turn often occurs a good 30 hours after he gets hit), it's tough to say for sure whether the Shield actually saves his ass or not. Things like that. I'm just trying to be certain everything is on the level before I toss you ever deeper into the meatgrinder.

How ya doing, buddy?

It's a dwarven racial trait; if something would knock them prone, they get a saving throw to try to stay upright since they're as wide as they are tall and all that.

Additional Spam:
Do Bob's Flame bursts hurt us as well if we're in the area of effect, or just the baddies?
Hits every creature in the burst area, unfortunately.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

You make a check automatically after each Extended Rest, D20 +Endurance skill.

Of course they can always just rush him to a qualified cleric, but that's expensive.

You can substitute a heal check for someone's endurance check when they're trying to recover from a disease, but your Heal skill and Arg's Endurance skill are both 8 so it's a bit of a wash. If it was somebody with less Endurance, like Bob, then Heal would be a big help.

But of course I never manage to infect anyone but the tanks

I'm sure Deni will just pour magical fluids into your mouth or give you a sensual massage or somethin', no worries

Additional Spam:
Anyway since this battle is winding down and you'll be hitting 4th level soon afterward (or immediately afterward, in the event of a fatality): At 4th level you receive +1 to two ability scores of your choice, a feat, and the standard retraining option.

Since eligibility for many feats is dependent on your ability scores, please let me know in advance, if possible, which two scores you intend to increase so that I can provide each of you with a custom list of eligible feat choices rather than dumping a 324-item list of every single heroic-tier feat in front of you.

Unfortunately Perception isn't a wizard class skill so you'd have to pick up a training feat if you wanted to bump that up. You could swap out Diplomacy for Dungeoneering, Insight, or Nature though.

Anyway here's the level 4 feats for Bob, seems like you already decided to take Toughness but the list is provided just for the sake of completeness (and to provide me with a template for later).

Also the rest of you please consult post 2028 again if you haven't, you may have missed it thanks to automerge

No.

Also, you put that ranger skill on there that Bob's not strong enough to use.
It's 13 STR or DEX, and Bob's got plenty of dexterity.
