I think he's in the hallway, just on the other side of south door. Hard to tell since he hasn't appeared on a map in two pages, but he was hitting the crab when it was just inside the door.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Well, since me and Deni are out of healing spells, and everyone except Bob and Gabriel is badly wounded, now would probably be a good time to check your character sheets and see what your healing skill ability is.

Edit: D'oh, thought you could use a heal check to let an adjacent party member use a healing surge, but it only lets them use second wind without spending an action point. Since we've all used second wind for this fight, that pretty much doesn't help us at all. Still, DC 15 Heal Checks are required to stabilize the dying, which may be important soon.

How ya doing, buddy?

Are we assumed to have spent a short rest now, Pang? Time to start chain-spending remaining healing surges.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Nah, go ahead. I still have a character waiting in the wings. Things don't move so fast that you need to check that often.

Shin is very lucky he spent that healing surge when he did.
650 HP for the puzzle and "defusing" the trap; 130 each
Might want to fix that, pang.

Two minor notes: Gabriel's speed was reduced to 4 due to his decision to wear chainmail, should have noticed that earlier but I don't think it's been relevant.
Doesn't he still move at 5 because of the "Encumbered Speed" Dwarven racial trait?

It would appear Pang updated all of her stats to level 2 except the "1" in the level box.

Also, awwww.... teensy little halfling. She should ride into battle on Argumentus' shoulders.

Hey knk, look on the bright side. Every time you use your Commander's Strike ability to make Argumentus hit something, the attack gets the bonus of the bracers.

Pang is discriminating against the little people.

Also lurker, diagonal movement still counts as one space.

Hey Pango, have you gotten your hands on the Adventurer's vault yet? It apparently has a bunch of new weapon types, and adds a lot of magical equipment. I'm trying to find a pdf copy of it now, so if I get my hands on it before you I will send you a copy.

Adventurer's Vault is pretty neat. Deni and Gabriel should check it out, as it adds a lot of new blunt objects to hit things with. Some nice new axes too, if Motsognir is interested.

Have to spend a feat to use a lot of them though, so it may not be worth it if you have other feats you really want.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Heh, it's just a type of weapon, not an uber-leet hax item. It's just a big hammer, but it's the biggest one available thus far.

Yeah, nevermind. I just realized Deni's using one-handed weapons with a shield. I guess I just assumed he had a maul because of his character name.

You do know that technically a maul is any hammer with a shaped edge at one end and as such, can be either one or two handed right? Your statement makes no sense.
You're still going? I assumed you were done last night and went to bed.

Anyways, I'd tell you to look at the player's handbook section on weapons, but you already went off on a spectacular tirade about rules, so I know it would be futile.

Edit: Also, I have no idea what you are talking about. Mauls are medieval sledghammers. I think you are talking about a splitting maul used to split wood. They are usually two-handed too though. This would be a lot easier to look up if half the results weren't for Darth Maul.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Ok, I promised Pang I'd stay out of his thread. Bye all. I'll be back if any of your characters need to be babysat and Pang can't find a volunteer.

May your crotchety old midget take a PANZERSTEIN UMLAUT to the forhead, lurker.

Sticking my head in here because Pang is doing this in a funny order that makes things too complicated. Just drop both, you can pick them up when the fight's over if you want them back or want to stow them.

Drop battleaxe (free)
Drop shield (free)
Pick up greataxe (minor)

Pang's method was more like... picking the greataxe up while still holding an axe and shield, juggling the greataxe while dropping (or stowing) axe and shield, then pulling out greataxe even though it wasn't actually stored at any point?

Pang's the DM and whatever he says goes. But still Pang, that's just weird.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

What interests me is that Pang said the Orc leader was bloodied after Bob landed the first hit on him. Either that was a mistake, or Pang is seriously underestimating you guys and throwing half-dead monsters at you.

Oops, yeah. Got the order mixed up. Thought Bob went first since he flung the door open, but I see that wasn't the case now. So nevermind, you guys just have a knack for killing off Pang's unique monsters before he gets to do anything with them.

Edit @ knk: Shaddap you. I'm trying to help you get your hands on a weapon for a change.

Yeah... that's the funny part. Pang didn't care. Neither did Shin, and he was the person I thought I was irritating.

So hi. I came back.

Feel free to inform me if my presence offends you, and I'll vanish again.
