Chopsticks
After visiting this authentic Chinese Food Restaurant which had chopsticks instead of forks I've been on this mission to master chopsticks so I can prevent further humiliation through incorrect usage. So since then I've been eating all my Asian food with chopsticks. At first it would take me about 20 minutes to completely finish a Teriyaki rice bowl. Now I have cut that down to less than 10 minutes. The Asian lady that makes them even helped me out with finishing off the hard to grab rice in the nearly empty bowl by showing me how to scoop it up. I was stupid and tried grabbing the small pieces of rice at the tip of the sticks.

I'm not exactly a pro, but now I feel more comfortable using them around other people. And chopsticks actually can make eating more enjoyable. =3

GFF Meet at my house next weekend?
I guess sometime next weekend Kaleb, Devo, Ed, and maybe kurado (his ass better come) are coming to my house. Not sure what we'll do here since my bedroom would be pretty packed. I'm sure Devo will abuse elixir in chat again. I think we could find something fun to do around here. Maybe visit the Roseville mall or something.

This is bad. I'm showing my face to too many of you people. ;____;

Ys Origin is so awesome.
The Ys series is an action RPG created by a small company known as Nihon Falcom. Very rarely do we ever see their games on our shore. Why, you ask? Well... they develop games for the PC. They never come here because most American gamers are too stupid to enjoy a console style RPG on their computer. The only time we do see a Falcom game in English is when it is released on a console, and even then American gamers still don't appreciate or know about their titles. Ys VI sold horribly here.

Spoiler:

Ahem. Anyway, some of you might know Ys from the days where you would mindlessly walk into the side of the enemy sprite to defeat the enemy. Of course it isn't like that anymore. Ys Origin uses the same combat system the last two 3D Ys games used where you actually run up to an enemy and combo on them by mashing the attack button. The only difference between this Ys and the others is Adol isn't a playable character anymore. In fact, there's 3 new playable characters to play through the game with, each with their own combat style. I've started the game with both characters and switch between them when I get bored of one.

This game is also more of a dungeon crawler with bits of story spread through the game. You climb a huge tower and every other floor the scenery and music changes. In a way it reminds me of Castlevania.

Sometimes you get a nice view outside.

There's platform bits and objects to jump over too.

And you can't forget the huge boss fights.

Or the cute little hungry roos.

I also created an account on youtube to host any random gameplay videos I make. Like I had to record my favorite boss fight in the game so far. He's pretty easy but fun to blow up. And my god, the boss music in the game is probably my favorite of any Ys game now.

Best Buy and other things.
I have a lot of stuff I could talk about right now.

First of all is my visit to Best Buy. Most Americans are fat because they eat too much and are the laziest people around. Like when it comes to parking. I entered the parking lot and parked in one of the many open parking spaces towards the very back. Of course there are about 10 other cars up front wasting time driving in circles waiting for a close spot to open up. By the time I walk up to the entrance the same people are still driving in circles. I got short exercise and saved time by walking. I'll never understand why people like doing this. Use common sense!

So inside Best Buy all the gaming stuff was still sold out. I figured I would use my gift cards on HDMI cables. But then my friend told me to hold on a minute so he could see how much of a discount he could get off them as an employee there. The 6FT HDMI cables were listed as $59.99. My friend could buy them for $15.74. Hah! Guess I'm not using my gift cards on those. That's a pretty decent discount I'd say. They probably cost only a few dollars to produce too. Just think of all the profit they make off of these things when sold for full price. Guess I'll have to find something else to buy. >_>

As soon as I arrive home I found a package from Japan sitting on my floor. At first I thought it was the new Ys game I ordered, but it wasn't.

Spoiler:

The bag is too small to be a Nihon Falcom PC game.

Hmmm. Looks like Japanese news paper. But something is inside it.

:333333

I think I'm gonna put him on my desk at work along with Psyduck. They can assist me with my projects. :3

Need Advice: Staying in shape
My new job requires little or no activity out of me unlike my last job which kept me pretty active. Now, the only thing I'm worried about is turning into one of those super fat overweight IT guys whose breathing sounds like machine. Right now I'm still skinny. I think I'm like 5'8" (can't remember) and about 146 lbs. I've already noticed myself gaining a few pounds over the 4 weeks I've worked there.

So to prevent this problem I decided that next week I'm gonna join a gym with my sister. I don't wanna grow huge muscles or anything. I just wanna stay in shape and keep myself from growing fat. How should I go about doing this? Would 2 visits a week suffice? Should I watch what I eat? I already don't eat much junk food to begin with. Give me advice. :3

The Obligatory Merry Christmas GFF Journal Entry
I hope you all enjoy your presents and your family dinners. I know I will.

Anyways, I took pictures of the stuff I got.
Spoiler:

Here's the AXE gel I get from my grandma every single year. >_> Also socks and boxers GET. I like the Best Buy card, though. I should be able to use it towards a new keyboard.

Here my sister bought me more clothes. I never go clothes shopping myself and I need more for work so I'm grateful she does it all for me.

My sister also bought me a really cool Zelda Wii carrying case and a copy of Ridge Racer 7 for my PS3. One of my friends bought me Kirby: Squeak Squad for the Nintendo DS. I'll get around to going on grand adventures with the puffball after I get around to finishing Castlevania.

Crappy picture of the back. I really need to buy a new digital camera. This one I got for 70 dollars fails at everything.

Raichu was a gift from Devon (along with pikachu). The other two I purchased from the Asian mall. Psyduck is full of win! :3

I'm also waiting on a few other friends to give me their presents. One is getting me the Animaniacs Volume 2 DVD while the other pre-ordered a video game for me. Tails, your gift should be on its way soon.

Posting on my wii because it makes me cool (Not)
Or not. Why post on the wii when I could use a computer to accomplish the same task with the use of a keyboard?

No more panhandling on GFF please.
Now Sir VG is asking for donations in his signature. You know, if you were unfortunate enough to have your house burn down or something then that would be a good reason to collect donations. I'm sure the community wouldn't mind lending a dollar or two to help out the member in need. But to beg for money for laptops, video games, whatever on a forum like this is just utterly pathetic. Go out, get a job, and save up your own damn money. If you make minimum wage and can only earn enough money to pay your bills, well... tough luck! Gain more job experience and apply for a higher paying position. You have to work hard to make it somewhere with your life. Begging won't get you anywhere.
