So I'm reading Doom Patrol (the classic issues) and I fucking love stilted 1960's comix dialogue. But then there's this:
YIII. It's like some sort of incanta-----OHSHIT.
WHAT'S GOING ON?
OH GOD IT'S COMING!!!!
Also on that same page was this ad:
LONG TIME, LONG TIME!
Still, the ad's not "edgy" enough. Not cool enough to be modern. So I fixed it:
I deconstructed it. And then, to make it more edgy, I REMOVED ALL TRACES OF EDGES IN THE PICTAR. Inability to tell what the product is? Oh, seen plenty of those... FOr that matter:
Is this a Tootsie Roll or a poopie?
To make it even more modern, I added a slogan:
SEE THERE'S A MOVIE REFERENCE AND SEX BEST AD EVER.
