Latest Gmail notifier extension for Firefox

Is anyone else having trouble installing this? Gmail Notifier worked fine for me for ages and today I was foolish enough to click Update out of curiosity, and the next time I started up my Firefox, I got a message that installation failed due to some error in Chrome Registration and a smallish message dump that makes no sense to me, naturally:

Quote:
Chrome Registration failed for Extension '{44d0a1b4-9c90-4f86-ac92-8680b5d6549e}' when calling nsIXULChromeRegistry::installLocale with this chrome path: jar:file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Mark/Application%20Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/dmavcoxq.default/extensions/%7B44d0a1b4-9c90-4f86-ac92-8680b5d6549e%7D/chrome/gm-notifier.jar!/locale/th-TH/gm-notifier/ (profile extension = true). Perhaps this path does not exist within the chrome JAR file, or the contents.rdf file at that location is malformed?
So now I don't even have the older version of Gmail notifier, nor can install any of the older ones.

Is this something in my browser or OS settings or something on the plugin's end? I'm installing the pack from Mozilla's own website, so I find it pretty strange it's eventually not possible.
Thank god Flashgot had no updates =/

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Why not use the official notifier that sits in the systray?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, so I've obviously not installed something like that =/

EDIT:

oic ::installed::

Well, screw the rest of this then, issue solved in a sense.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
