Importing Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!

Anyone know the cheapest place to import this from? It might be an Amazing game, but ti's not worth 45+ bucks + shipping.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

The "cheapest" place would be ebay. Brand new you're looking at 45+ minimum regardless of where you look.

I am willing to bet Ouendan will only increase as time goes on. It's one of those games (much like their previous title, Gitaroo Man) which only becomes harder and harder to find.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Go to Hong Kong. The "authenticity" trustworthiness is 1%, sure, but I managed to have my friend get the real thing for me for only $40AUS (which is by comparison $29AUD cheaper than retail price and $10AUD cheaper for the "touch generation" series "deal" which includes Nintendogs and Brain Training).

But elixir hits it: Ebay is probably the first place to go (even though it ain't really reliable).

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Stupid question, do you need a Japanese DS to play it or will it work on American ones too like the PSP? I'm kinda interested in it, but I don't want to have to spend another $130 just to play it.

Get it from YesAsia.

$44.99 base price + $5 off code for new customers (WGASIA5) or product-specific for old customers (OSU5) + free global shipping over $25 = $39.99 shipped. You probably can't do better than that anywhere, even if you get lucky on ebay.

I think the best option for budget-conscious Americnas is to wait for Elite Beat Agents.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Yeah, people wanting Crash Bandicoot should play Crash Bandicoot 2 instead, right?

Just import it. I can't recommend yesasia though, two weeks after my order they claimed they didn't have stock, and they'd already charged my credit card. It was an extreme waste of time and in the end I didn't get the game I wanted from them.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Well, how much of a difference in the gameplay is there really? If Crash 1 was $50 and Crash 2 was about $30, I'd say that's a valid suggestion. You'd be missing the original levels, but if you want it mainly for the gameplay, I think playing the sequel is a good way to get a similar experience, maybe even with some new and improved features (GameRankings says Crash 2 is the better game). And it's not a direct sequel, so you wouldn't be missing out on any backstory either.

If you're a completionist though, or are willing to pay $50 for the extra songs and levels for some other reason, don't let me stop you.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I can't possibly imagine Elite Beat Agents being a better game.

It's aimed at an american audience. With an english tracklist. It's bound to have songs in there which are bad. If you've heard Steriogram (and I've seen them live) you'll know that Walkie Talkie Man on insane is going to be bullshit difficult.

I just hope they don't have long introductions that you can't skip (the egyptian and EARTH HADOUKEN levels in Ouendan are culprits of this.)

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I don't understand why people think this. I mean, what's so great about it? I've heard lots about this game, but it doesn't seem to be an action game or anything. What do you do in it again? I forgot... someone showed me screenshots one time but I forgot all about them because I didn't think it looked very impressive.

I disagree (yes I imported it, yes I finished it on every difficulty already, time for S ranks). The egyptian level's intro isn't that long at all, but Ready Steady Go's intro is 35seconds (I timed it after watching it for the 2039482390 time), and that does get annoying.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
