Some light shed on the first Konami Wii title.
![]() Elebits. As in, "electric bits". See those cute, and cool looking criters up there? They roam around in the world of Elebits and you use them as a fuel source. That's all we've got. I guess we'll have to wait till E3 for actual gameplay information and pics. source Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |

How ya doing, buddy? |
Wow ok. I'm very eager to see how this turns out! I must say, it seems like Wii's control scheme is definately inspiring developers to finally create more new franchises.
![]() This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
Interesting concept. The expression of the blue thing reminds me of the small creature in Wind Waker.. anyone know what I mean?
Anyway at the moment it seems very much like Pikmin to me though that is not necessarily a bad thing. I like that game developers try strange stuff. Here“s some more concept art: http://www.nintendogal.com/index.php...Wii-Title.html The last few days were pretty interesting, finally some Wii games get officially announced! I agree that it sounds more or less like a variation of Pikmin to me, but that ain't a bad thing for sure. I really hope there'll be a Pikmin Wii, but anyway this looks awesome. Hope it's playable at E3!
I'm also glad to hear Konami will be focusing on the single player part of the game primarily. Not that I don't think a multiplayer mode would be cool (co-op especially), but I just like the fact that they emphasize the importance of a good single-player experience above a multiplayer one. I was speaking idiomatically. |

when you say "use" them as a fuel source all i can think about is putting them into a blender.
The concept sounds pretty damn good, i never played pikmin or anything but it seems to me to be in the similar sort of vein as it? Wii (*sigh*) is going to have some damn creative titles judging by what we've seen so far. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |

You mean Makar? The Korok? Looks more like something out of a Miyazaki film to me. But let's face it, all this cute, Japanese creatures look at least similar. This is currently my most anticipated title for Wii. Sounds incredible, very much my kind of game. FELIPE NO |
Heh, cute indeed. I like the art, though.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() |
Yeah I'll have to reiterate that Pikmin was the first thing I thought upon seeing the picture. It's really cute as well. I hope we get more artwork released before it comes out.
