[Tournament] GFFHL09: THE RETURN

Ok folks hockey has almost returned which means fantasy hockey has almost returned. After a year hiatus, it's time to bring back GFFHL for another year.

To join the league, go to Fantasy on Yahoo! Sports - News, Scores, Standings, Rumors, Fantasy Games. You will need the league ID which is 91861 and the league password which is pottedplant. Rules for the league are the same as years past, but I have referenced them below in case anyone forgot:



Take note of the league password and the draft date, which is currently set for Wed, September 9th at 8:30 PM (time pushed back 1 hour from what is in the screenshot to accommodate our west coast friends). If this time won't work folks need to let me know ASAP so we can come to a consensus on what would be better.

I will be trying to let folks know who have participated in the past to get all 12 spots filled but if ya'll know anyone make sure to spread the word. LET'S DO THIS SHIT.

Fuck yeah. So in for this. Though the Bolts will probably take a shit again this year, I still love hockey. Should be a lot of fun to come in 3rd again.

Draft time for me sucks, but drafting is not usually how I win hockey leagues anyways.

Frack, I am in Berlin during the draft.... I will see what I can do. I wouldn't mind joining this though.... not qa big fan of the whole season.... mostly just playoffs, but since Ronz sent me a PM, then I might go for it.

Yea I still can but if we change it I want it to be to a time when most everyone can attend. I don't really know when that would be but i'm open to suggestions.

Sorry for the delay, but classes got in the way of my Internet time.

I'll be signing up tomorrow (ideally in class), and I'll figure out then when the best time for the draft would be for me.

Just tried to register and it returned the following errors:

I couldn't tell ya; I haven't run a Yahoo pool before (or any, for that matter). I guess Ronz could always make a completely new pool and have people sign up again, if nothing else. I'm not sure what the last day a draft can be held is, though.

By the way you worded it, I couldn't tell if the draft had actually occurred yet, or if it had just been set to an earlier date.

If you've drafted, though, I don't think there is a way to "restart" without starting an entirely new league. Oh, and drafts most likely can be held up until the first game of the season, and maybe even into the season.
