I'm copying and pasting these from my Facebook (for those who may question the source URL): My Latest Stuff:
Spoiler:
People.
Leave it to the intensity of the scanner to make the color blending look worse than it should. Regardless, I think the name speaks for itself.
Done in Prisma colors; a fine tipped black Prisma marker was also added to the mix with an additional update to my color selection with greys and blues.
"Work It Out"
Normally I do not do a series of artworks relating to each other, but I've changed up my approach. Each three of the pieces here are completely related, all based off of the song by artist "Willie Evans Jr.", from his song "Work it out". Each piece here is based off a line from that song; the first three lines of that song to be more specific.
Done with Prisma Color markers.
Older Stuff (About last year):
Spoiler:
This image has loose meaning, this was done with Sharpies. However, this was the first image I drew where I started using my colorful style to incorporate "meaning" into the piece.
It's called Gorilla Tongue, because the monsters tongue reminded me of Banana's and Gorilla's stereotypically enjoy Banana's. I know, genius idea.
Another Sharpie picture, this one's even more abstract then the Gorilla Tongue picture (and that big thing in the back with the red coat is supposed to be Gorilla Tongue, kinda got cut off). Anyways, yeah, that quote is from the rapper "J-Live" off the song Timeless. I heard it while I was drawing this, got it stuck in my head so I threw it in.
This is based off of the idea of how people treat each other until it only gets worse (the moon representing that worse). The ducks are a metaphor for humans, the teeth on their back are to fend off back stabbers. This idea wasn't as well formed as my other pieces, but I quite enjoyed creating this piece the most. I'm also re-creating this into sculpture form.
Contracts, I really like your artwork and the story they sort of have. Perhaps I'm delusional but it feels like there's a bustling world within each piece.
