Running Call of Duty 4 with CPU speed of 1.50GHz
So I was thinking of getting Call of Duty 4 for the PC, but I ran that test from the systemrequirementslab site and it said that 1.50GHz wasn't good enough to run it. That's kind of putting me off from buying it. I have a pretty decent video card (It's a NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS), I have 2GB of system RAM and I have more than enough Disk Space (I have around 40 GB of Disk Space).
Would running this game on low or medium settings be good enough for playing Single-Player or Multiplayer? Before anyone asks, I do not have a PS3 or XBox 360 and I don't plan on buying one any time soon. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
I really don't think that card classifies as "decent." It's possible you could run it at something like 640x480 with the lowest settings, but even then I wouldn't be too sure. You could always download the demo and try it out.
How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
Oh... Well, it was considered decent when I got it (which was last year in September).
![]() I just got the COD4 demo and surprisingly enough, everything ran pretty smoothly. Even though it's not at the high settings or anything, 800 x 600 is good enough for me. I don't really care if it's at its highest settings. As long as the game plays smoothly, it's good enough for me. So, I think I'll go pick this game up in a few days. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]()

It will run pretty good on max with a Pentium 4.3.8GHZ hyperthreaded processor, with an NVIDIA 7900GT, and 2gigs of ram.
But yes good for you if it ran, its a pretty good game. Atleast its not like crysis. ![]() I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
