Some images in IE7 is shown as red X
It's not that I have a slow connection, I have very fast.
But I don't understand why some of the images are shown as empty images (or red x). This is especially on webpages with lots of images. How can I change this? Does it have anything with the cache level? If yes, where do I change it? It's really annoying as I can't see the red x unless I press reload. But when I press F5, the previous image that were shown, are now red x. Help me out please. Jam it back in, in the dark.
Thanks to Fjordor for the funny image!

Don't use the IE...
How ya doing, buddy? |
It's probably timing out and displaying as a red X. If you don't want to see red Xs, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced tab, and under Multimedia settings, uncheck [ ] Show image download placeholders
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
