Anxiety from neck injury?
Gamingforce, checking into the doctor tomorrow afternoon to take a look at an issue that's been bothering me on and off for the last 3 months. Come September I cranked my neck in the wrong direction, it got extremely stiff for the next few days - then several days later I began to have spells of vertigo, numbness, tingling in my hands and feet, and just a general feeling of worry. It's hard to describe. More like an "out of sorts" feeling, as if I'm not the same person, but I'm still the same person mentally, haven't given up any of my hobbies and don't feel depressed because I'm not the type of person to be bogged down by anything.
I'm more interested in seeing if anyone else has suffered from such symptoms after a neck injury, and if the anxiety was connected to that incident and cured up after some visits to the Doctor? Extremely annoying. And kind of worrying - as if I'll have to live with this "feeling" for a long time, or forever. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
That could be anything from diet deficiencies to lyme disease.
You might want to try seeing a neurologist or chiropractor. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |

If you would go to a regular Internal Medicine physician, they will only send you to a specialist. A neurologist will probably make you have an EEG done, (electroencephalogram) to see if there's any abnormal brain wave due to the neck injury. Other than that, I'm not too sure. I wish you luck buddy ^_^ This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
