In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale
Uwe Boll strikes again!
480 p trailer 1080p trailer Right click- Save-as and rename extension to .mov here's the plot from IMDB: A man named Farmer sets out to rescue his kidnapped wife and avenge the death of his son -- two acts committed by the Krugs, a race of animal-warriors who are controlled by the evil Gallian. Jason Statham is in it, which warrants a watch from me, but with it being Uwe Boll, I'm not expecting a whole hell of a lot. Upon just watching the trailer... this looks like it could be Boll's best work. It doesn't look half bad, but I'm still not expecting great things. Jam it back in, in the dark.

The trailer didn't look half bad, I'll give it that, but the only thing I really see from Uwe Boll films nowadays is really, REALLY bad dialogue.
Though I heard Postal, his last movie that I have honestly no clue where it went, apparently had a lot of people praising it. I hate to say it, but I think that our Mr. Boll here is slowly, slowly starting to get better with his movies. And I think this is happening because he isn't taking himself too seriously at all. He's having fun instead of trying to impress, which is almost a necessity when it comes to directing. Most amazing jew boots |
Jason Statham warrants a watch? Really?
Grail, I respectively disagree and must say that it looks terrible. It looks like everyone decided to take the Keanu Reeves School of Wooden Chair Acting in that trailer. There's way too much talking for an action movie. If they're going to make a movie about ass-kicking, the trailer better be an endless reel of ass-kicking. Showcasing the talky will not do any favors for this movie. Dungeon Siege as a game was fun though. Enough pointing and clicking that led to massive wrist strain, but was a very simple pleasure. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
