New Cook
After cooking a delicious entree of garlic clams and linguine, it has become apparent to me that I am one bad ass cook.
Can someone please recommend some good recipe sites. At the moment, I'm using the Home Cooking section of About.com. Also, what are some mandatory kitchen ingredients. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I'd recommend buying a real cookbook over just browsing websites. It's a lot easier to sit down and flip through a real book over clicking random links on the internet. I'd recommend buying the America's Test Kitchen cookbook (their main one, not any of the derivatives) since it explains the 'why' for a lot of what you should do in the kitchen.
As for necessities, it all depends on what kind of cooking you like to do. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
