Indexing HTML

If I were to develop a news site, what would be the easiest way to index or database all of my pages. At the moment, for every page I want to create, I have to create a new directory and name it, which is insane for every little thing I want to put up.

I want to figure out how to make things "automated", to the extent of just pulling up a template, making the page, and just connecting the hyperlinks without having to figure out the directory structure.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Just get a CMS like Joomla.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
