Email Newsletter
Hi
I need to create email newsletter containing pictures and news that will be sent to my anime club members. But I dont know how to create one. I am using gmail to store my members email address. Can you advise me how to create one? Thanks in advance ![]() Jam it back in, in the dark. |
If you look under "contacts" in your gmail account, you'll see a tab labelled "groups". You should be able to place your mailing list addresses within that group and spam to your heart's content using only the group name as an email address.
Gmail allows you to use third party applications such as Thunderbird to send and receive email as well. You could also utilize that for sending mass email. And...there are a host of places to create a list/forum (like Google Groups) that could make life a lot easier for you since you wouldn't have to manage a bunch of email addresses (remove, add, change, etc) by hand. That's a task better suited for mailing list software :-) http://groups.google.com http://groups.yahoo.com/ etc. There's nowhere I can't reach.

As for how to make the messages themselves, you should be able to find a template or something to do so. Most mail programs also allow you to paste the picture into the message sending area.
Are you trying to make a newsletter which has images built into the message (so it appears like the newsletter NAMCO or some other game company sends out) or one in which they're simply attached though? How ya doing, buddy? |
