How do I set the icons on the desktop to not have a background colour?
Not really a major problem, but how can I set so that the name under the icons on the desktop is not surrounded by the background colour? I'm using Windows XP on both of my computers, and one of them has the icon name backgrounds transparent but the other has the background colour surrounding it. Where can I change the settings?
The one that has the background colour around the icon names The one that doesn't Most amazing jew boots |
Press Windows key + Break (your system properties)
advanced tab -> performance settings... I have everything checked on mine. Play with it. There's nowhere I can't reach. |

Thank you~ I just had to check the box for "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop". I never thought to look under System Properties, I thought it had to do with Desktop properties instead.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
