Justice League Movie?
http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=102605
The Batman vs. Superman movie should have come first and had a better chance of being a real blockbuster. It's too soon to do up a Justice League. Establish the heavyhitters as real properties first, THEN you can assemble them for even heavier hits. As of now, people are just gonna chuckle about this being some "Superfriends the Movie." Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I don't care as long as the Flash is in it and they don't use Hal Jordan as their Green Lantern.
There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
I would love one after how Smallville's version turned out. Flash and Green Arrow kicked ass the most, but Cyborg was cool as well. Aquaman is decent, but can only be so good. The actor wasn't as great as the others really.
Batman vs Superman. Hell no. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

Cool. Casting will be interesting. I just hope they have fun with the movie and not get too serious.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
If they make a Justice League movie, including Superman and Batman in the mix might cause some confusion. I mean, when the Batman sequal comes out and he is getting his ass beat, fans will say "why doesn't Batman call his friends in the Justice League?" And I think that having Superman in a team might be over-powering, none of the other heroes will be anywhere as powerful as he is. He kicks enough ass on his own.
They should make it Flash, Green Lantern, maybe Hawkman, Black Canary and the popular second stringers. What they should do, is make a "Dark Knight Returns" movie. That would rock! How ya doing, buddy? |
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() |
Of course, in the comic books it is easier to portray super powerful heroes, but in the movies they tend to make them more human and not as powerful.
I just don't think a screenwriter will be able to make a good movie with Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern, ect. all working together. I think they might use less powerful characters, so that people can identify with them more. FELIPE NO |
Wark! |
Honestly, I don't think that a movie with a lot of characters with huge mythologies, like Batman, Superman, any Green Lantern will work...
But, if they want to use them, the main villain is going to be one of the Superman crew, and the other ones will just follow the villain's orders. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
Nham nham...

I just hope they can get the pacing right. I mean we're talking about more than 2 heroes here, so it will be hard to get equal screen importance for all of them.
But I'm one of many that hope they can pull this off flawlessly. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
Sounds cool. Personally, I'd like to see Paul Dini write this, though (he has a talent for making totally awesome, self-contained DC hero stories.)
I think it might be hard to pull off though. Even considering some of the more classical builds of the Justice League, most people wouldn't know who a lot of the heroes are (Green Lantern and Flash, while they're totally awesome, just don't have the same iconic power behind them as Supes or Bats outside of the comic community.) What would probably happen, then, is that each of those lesser known heroes would have to get at least some setup of who they are; with at least five heroes in there, that'd be at least an hour of setup before the main story even gets started. I hope they pull it off; that'd be a godawesome movie. How ya doing, buddy? Showtime. Now using: Roger Smith Av #11 |
