Mass Bitrate and .WAV Conversions
Hey all,
I just got an iPod and I want to put some files on it. But it's only a 2 gig nano so I'd like to reformat the MP3s I put on it to conserve space. I was wondering if anyone knew how to mass convert .mp3s to bitrate 128 since many of my mp3s are currently 192 or higher. Also, is there software to mass convert .wav to mp3s? Thanks for any help provided. ps. on a side note anyone know if there is an itunes alternative? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I don't think nanos can play .wavs, mine doesn't at least. You should download LAME and RazorLame to go with it, that way you'll be able to batch process everything with ease.
And just to let you know, but you probably don't care, you lose quality in a 128->192 conversion, since mp3 is a lossy format. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
You mean 192 > 128? Yeah I plan to lose quality in order to make space.
Additional Spam: figured it out. I ended up using EASY CD-DA Extractor, and dBPoweramp This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
