Then let's hope it's a good one then, eh? It looks okay, so I guess I should take a closer look at it...

That's awesome
![]() Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion has started to become boring... This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

I hope the story is intriguing and well made. I'm not worried about the sheer environments and scale of this game either--they know that their biggest obstacle is surpassing Oblivion. Looks good.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
Hmm, looks quite good. The story sounds interesting as well, and it also has an online element to it, as well as a good/evil thing going on too. Looks like it is shaping up to be better than Oblivion.
I think that it should be quite good, so long as they can make the story as good as the graphics. Got a release date of 3 March (UK) How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
If there's voice acting in it, I hope they use more than 3 actors lol. I noticed that a lot of the characters in Oblivion began to sound painfully obvious to each other, which meant more that one guy recorded the voice for many characters (without bothering to change his pitch or tone to make it sound like a different person), which made me lose some of my "suspension of belief" a little.
On a serious note though, I hope the storyline's good. Nothing makes me lose interest in a game more than the fact that the plot that doesn't seem like it's well done (gameplay could help, but there's only so many times you can kill an orc with a sword, a bow, or a fireball in a game like this before it starts to get repetitive). I liked Oblivion because of the sheer size and number of quests that could be done in it. I got so sidetracked doing the mini-quests that I forgot to save the world for a long time. Spoiler:

Game looks pretty bad to me. The graphics remind me of some bad 3D DOS game, rather than anything that comes close to Oblivion.

The style is a cross between uncanny valley that most games tred these days and a realistic version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer claymation.
I swear to god I feel that the Abominable Snow Monster is going to pop in on the game at any second. ![]() This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
