Winamp Media Library & VGM Emulated Files

Copy/pasted from Winamp's forum since :nonecares:

I use a lot of video game music emulated sound formats. SPC, VGM, PSF, USF ... They all display fine in Winamp's playlist, Winamp reading each of their tags how they are supposed to be read, but it's another thing when I scan with the Media Library.

At the point I am now, I either have to rely on the "Smart Detect" thing, or disable it an have all the info in the Title field with every other fields being blank.

I don't understand how Winamp can read the metadata of, say, SPC files, but still the media library don't get it right.

Any ideas ?

Jam it back in, in the dark.
