Spooky sites and other things

So, in light of Halloween, share some websites with scary info (preferably none that are nothing more than a stupid tests that then show you a stupid/spooky image followed by a scream).

Also, do you believe in that stuff, or are you too de-sensitized to be scared anymore? Movies for the most part don't scare me much anymore, largely because they rely too much on throwing stuff in your face for a few seconds (like a creature running past for like a split second, followed by some music), and requiring people to do stupid things ("oh look, here's an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. Let's go in and explore, shall we?").

Ironically, I remember being really spooked by a scene in the Exorcist, and I don't even know if this was intentional, was a subtle thing, or just my mind playing tricks with me:

Spoiler:
There is one scene I think is right before the priests start to exorcise the girl, where I think the mom is in the kitchen. Although she walks offscreen, where the camera is placed, in another room, you can almost make out what looks like a demonic face on the wall, staring at you.

Again, I don't know if this was intentional, or if it's something that just accidentally happened due to lighting effects, but for me, it was the creepiest scene in the movie, and even creepier than the actual exorcism.

But games can still spook me, the latest ones being Silent Hill 4:

Spoiler:
Mostly in the 2nd half of the game, when you're in your room, and then ghosts start to spawn in your room. I was so scared that I made sure to have a saint medallion on at all times. When your room begins to get haunted, if you go too close to a haunting, your controller begins to vibrate, and if you stay around it too long, you begin to take damage. A saint medallion makes this kind of noise to prevent that damage, but the controller still vibrates, and when you hear a shattering noise, the medallion is used up and you have to get away from the haunting, or place a holy candle there to cleanse it (Ideally though, you would place the candle near the haunting, and not go near enough to start the vibrating controller).

To make that worse, when you wake up, and there's a haunting in your closet or phone, your controller begins to vibrate right away as you "wake up", because the closet and phone are right next to your bed where you get up at. In addition to it being dark, the stuff going on just kind of gets to you after a while.

And Fatal Frame 2 on Xbox:

Spoiler:
One of the scariest moments for me was in the area where the "fallen lady" is. I had beaten her once, and then was exploring, passed through her room again.

When all of a sudden, I her her voice and see her just fall in front of me. Needless to say, I never went back in there lol.

The boss guy in the Chapter 3 room was scary at first, because he makes the room turn from color to old black and white, and kills you in one hit. On top of that, you have a narrow hallway in which to pass him. However, after like the 6th time trying to get through, I got more pissed off than scared because it was frustrating to redo all that crap over again and again.

Same thing with those twin doll girls. The fact that they respawn in many rooms makes them more annoying than scary after a while.

And reading up about haunted areas does get to me after a while if I read up on it too long (like I heard the basement to one of the dorms at my school is haunted. Not surprisingly, a nearby religious college has a lot of hauntings in it, requiring the priests there to exorcise them. The hauntings seemed to have stopped after they bless the area, so it must be working, till the next person decides to commit suicide anyway).

Jam it back in, in the dark.
