Reliable CD Importer

Recently, I've been looking for a reliable way to get imported soundtracks from the Far East, and I thought I'd solicit your opinions. What's the best place?

The album I'm most concerned with at this point is SUN by Howard Shore. The only place I've found it is called YesAsia.com, but I don't know anything about the site's reliability.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I've actually never bought an imported CD from online... but from my friends who have, I haven't heard any bad reviews from YesAsia. A lot also use CDJapan, which has of course Japanese artists, some Korean and Chinese, and Asian releases of Western artists.

I did a search, but they don't have the specific album you're looking for. =/

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I use the following and all are recommended:

CDJapan
VGMWorld
YesAsia

Amazon, Amazon UK and CDUniverse are okay if you can't find it elsewhere and don't mind paying a bit more. Both currently have a few OOP Anime CDs, like Symphonic Suite Captain Harlock, so they are worth looking into in some circumstances...

I also hear these are reliable as well...

Amazon Japan
Ark Square
Play-Asia

In any case, good luck!

EDIT, BTW, I would get SUN through YesAsia. Use free shipping and you'll end up paying much less than the others. It'll take about a week though...

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Me? I'm moving to Japan next year, and I'll gladly sell you cds I'll be buying for dirt cheap.

Otherwise, I like most of the sites mentioned above and of course you can always check the independently owned video game sites..they usually have somethings in the way of music. www.lik-sang.com, www.ncsx.com, www.videogamedepot.com

P.s. I've ordered from all three of those stores, only problem I ever had was lik-sang took forever in sending out my order, but it turned out the item had simply been delayed in getting released.

Seriously? With full-length albums costing around thirty bucks? Dude, we might have to talk.

Speaking of video game sites, you might try Play-Asia, but finding non-vg, non-anime CDs might be a bit tough.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I second all three: they're excellent, and I've known of no one that's had a major issue with them.

How ya doing, buddy?

YesAsia is great if you're planning on buying a lot (since they have free shipping for orders over $40). I've placed quite a few orders with them and have never had a problem.

I have only placed 3 orders with them so far, but regardless if I use free shipping or not, it arrived very fast. It took longer than using EMS, which takes only 3 days to get here. That said, the fact EMS costs me on average $13-25 alone counting on the amount of CDs, well, it's worth it...
