E-Books on DS

I've got a ton of PDFs I wanna read on the go, and the only portable device I own (besides a RAZR) is the DS Lite. Viewing TXT, HTML, or PDFs would be the best thing ever for me. Is there a feasible solution for this?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Just get yourself a palm notebook or whatever. I have the ability to do this and I don't even bother; it's really not worth it unless you're also going to deal with DS downloading/emulation and homebrew.

Also, most homebrew apps on a DS have horrible touchscreen calibration. I've tried adding addresses and it's taken twice as long thanks to the lack of accuracy and recognition.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Browsing Lik-Sang, I found a couple items that can display E-books and other media on the DS.

http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?cat...ducts_id=8970&
(SD card version)

http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?cat...ducts_id=3983&
(CF card version)

It looks like people like these things, but they say nothing about the Ebook reading features. Has anyone tried either of these?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

You might want to look at the "NDS/GBA Flashing/PassMe discussion" thread. It discusses many devices mainly meant for booting roms, but some of them also offer a wide range of other useful features; Reading e-books is one of them.
Personally i'd recommend the M3 because they currently have the best to offer in terms of price/quality/performance and actively listen to their customer's needs, but that's up to you

This is actually something I'm very interested in as well. I'm a bit confused as to how it would all work though, does the product that was linked to earlier in the thread to Lik Sang allow you to simply take a SD or CF card with a txt (or maybe even pdf?) document and display it directly on the DS as typical text? If it's more complicated than that and requires some messing around with extra booting devices and such I can just bring this question to the DS/GBA flashing/passme thread instead.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Using the devices on Lik-Sang, I've seen people read .txt files on the DS. You simply drag the text file onto an SD or CF card (depending on which version you have) and use the DS to read them.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Cool, sounds simple enough, thanks. Did you happen to hear what kind of text formats it works with or if PDF is supported (a long shot, but can't hurt to ask).
