Ladies and gentlemen, #1 LSU has lost in triple overtime against an unranked Arkansas 50-48! LSU's luck finally ran out.
Jam it back in, in the dark.

OH MY GOD! LSU LOSES! 50-48 TO ARKANSAS!
The gayest National Championship. Kansas/Missouri vs. West Virginia. How ya doing, buddy? ![]() Dance party! |
No, it would be worse if Oklahoma won the Big-12 championship and Ohio State got into the national championship. Either Big-12 team would blow the crap out of OSU and their shitty Big-10 schedule.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Kansas, unless they lose tomorrow, will definitely go up to #1. They're going to have a tough time against Missouri tomorrow. That match is definitely up in the air. Also, doesn't the winner of this game have to face Oklahoma? What if both teams end up losing, one tomorrow and the other next week against Oklahoma? Again, Ohio State would be right back in it. There's no telling what might happen in these last two weeks. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Also, if I was a voter, I would only drop LSU down to 4th. No way in hell OSU should get into the title game over LSU. Two triple overtime losses?

Just for Idle
WAIT WAIT......HAAHAHAHAHHAHAHA..... i just noticed (wait...I DO have ESPN....hahahahaha.... ((sorry..couldn't help it)) Now lets get Hawaii in that Championship game then watch EVERYONE riot! How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
OH yes! Because it doesn't matter if LSU loses to a ranked team in triple overtime or an unranked team in triple overtime. They should only drop down three spots! Let's not give the other teams that have only two losses a chance to play in the BCS Championship!
I hate Ohio State, I do. However, I hate LSU even more because of that bullshit that was done with their first loss. I won't let that one go for a good while. If they only drop down below Ohio State, then the end of the BCS Rankings will happen much more quickly. It's a similar story with Ohio State...unless at least 2 of the top 3 teams lose (Kansas, WVU, and Missouri) I don't think they should be in the BCS Championship. If all of the top 3 teams lose, then all hell is going to break loose because that other spot will be up for grabs at that point. Hell frozen over BCS Championship - OSU vs. LSU. If there's anyone I feel sorry for in this whole ordeal, it's Hawaii. 10-0 and they're only ranked #15. They should be up much higher than that, at least in the top 5. FELIPE NO |
LSU lost to two very good SEC teams in triple overtime. One was on the road to a team that was 5-1 and playing some of the best football in the country up to that point. The other was to a team that probably has the best football player in college on it.
Ohio State lost to an average Illinois team at home. OSU doesn't have a single noteworthy victory on its entire schedule. It walked through the easiest BCS conference, and the only reason they would move up is because they didn't have an opportunity to lose a game this week. Why should OSU move up because the team above them lost? Who is to say that if OSU had a game scheduled in the last two weeks of the season, it wouldn't lose? LSU still might have to play another Top 10 BCS team (they beat the living shit out of the one they faced this year already, Virginia Tech). If you're going to start looking at who lost to whom, you have to look at the entire schedule. I'd say every team in the BCS Top 10 would go 11-1 with OSU's schedule, and half of them probably would have gone 12-0. Also, this is only Hawaii's 2nd game against a team with a winning record...and the other one is 6-5. If they wanted to be in the BCS like Boise State was last year, they should have played someone other than 1-11 Northern Colorado, 2-9 UNLV, 4-7 Washington, and a I-AA team that is 5-6. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

I took a look at OSU's schedule and compared it to Hawaii's. Damn, is this Hawaii's first game against a ranked team? Ohio State's was a little tougher but all 4 of the ranked teams they took on were between ranks 21-25.
I was trying to stay away from who was playing who, but who's to say that the people who vote in the rankings aren't doing the same thing? Additional Spam (11/24/07): Well, WVU killed UConn today and right now Missouri has a two touchdown lead over Kansas.
Jam it back in, in the dark.

Crazy day.
What I assume this week's poll will be: 1 Missouri 2 WVU 3 OSU 4 LSU 5 Georgia 6 Kansas 7 Virginia Tech 8 Oklahoma 9 USC 10 ASU 11 Florida 12 BC 13 Hawaii 14 Illinois 15 Tennessee 16 Oregon 17 Texas 18 Wisconsin 19 Virginia 20 Clemson That's probably as far as anyone has even a chance of getting into the BCS. I think Missouri beats Oklahoma. I think LSU beats Tennessee. I think Virginia Tech beats Boston College. I think Oregon loses. I think everyone else wins (I'll even let ASU win for the sake of argument...but even if they didn't, they probably won't fall out of the Top 14 due to the losses by Boston College, Tennessee, and Oregon). Last poll: 1 Missouri 2 WVU 3 OSU 4 LSU 5 Georgia 6 Kansas 7 Virginia Tech 8 USC 9 ASU 10 Florida 11 Oklahoma 12 Hawai'i 13 Illinois 14 Boston College So my final guess going into next week, assuming I have the BCS rankings right: NCG: Missouri (Big-12 Champ/BCS #1) vs. West Virginia (Big East Champ/BCS #2) Rose: USC (Pac-10 champ) vs. Ohio State (Big Ten Champ) Orange: Virginia Tech (ACC Champ) vs. Georgia (At-Large #2) Fiesta: Oklahoma/Kansas (At-Large #1) vs. ASU (At-Large #3) Sugar: LSU (SEC Champ) vs. Hawaii (Non-BCS Automatic Qualifier) If Missouri loses: 1 WVU 2 OSU 3 LSU 4 Georgia 5 Kansas 6 Virginia Tech 7 Oklahoma 8 Missouri 9 USC 10 ASU 11 Florida 12 Hawaii 13 Illinois 14 BC So in this scenario: NCG: #1 WVU (Big East Champ/BCS #1) vs. #2 Ohio State (Big Ten Champ/BCS #2) Rose: USC (Pac-10 Champ) vs. Illinois (At-Large #1) Orange: Virginia Tech (ACC Champ) vs. Georgia (At-Large #2) Fiesta: Oklahoma (Big-12 Champ) vs. ASU (At-Large #3) Sugar: LSU (SEC Champ) vs. Hawaii (Non-BCS Automatic Qualifier) How about this for some crazy shit: If Oklahoma beats Missouri, if Pitt beats WVU, and if LSU loses to Tennessee (or drops farther than I would imagine this week): It is entirely possible the championship will be Ohio State vs. Georgia, a team which didn't even play in it's own conference championship game. There's nowhere I can't reach.

I think its kinda bullshit that people say teams who go undefeated should be in the top rankings, but once hawaii is mentioned they're like "O NOES!!! They're not good enough"
Honestly...then don't say that all undefeated teams should be up there. Most amazing jew boots ![]() |
Also, a 7-5 UCLA team goes to the Rose Bowl if it beats USC, if ASU loses, and if Oregon beats Oregon State.

Thats what I was wondering...If UCLA beats USC, does UCLA go to the RB or would USC still go?
I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() |
Yeah, they still need ASU to lose since ASU would win outright, and they need Oregon to win, because if Oregon State is tied at the top, then USC wins on the tiebreakers.
And the chances that ASU and USC will lose and Oregon will find some way to win are pretty much slim and none, thank God. UCLA would probably be the worst team the Pac-10 has ever sent to the Rose Bowl. Most amazing jew boots

WVU fucked up...I can't be any more blunt than that.

Here are your matchups:
If Hawaii Wins: NCG: OSU vs. Georgia Rose: USC vs. Illinois Orange: Virginia Tech vs. West Virginia Fiesta: Oklahoma vs. Kansas Sugar: LSU vs. Hawaii If Hawaii Loses: Fiesta: Oklahoma vs. Arizona State Sugar: LSU vs. Kansas What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Sorry to say, but no team from the B12North should ever be ranked #1. EVER.
at least not since Nebraska stopped being Nebraska. Aaaand...Ohio State back in the NCG. They said the B10 was having a down year. But now all the other conferences know what it's like to play in a conference that constantly has a lot of, say it with me...parity! Jam it back in, in the dark.
<@a_lurker> I like zeal better than guru.
<@a_lurker> There, I said it, I'm not taking it back. |
What does it say about the Big Ten when a team that couldn't even qualify for it's conference championship beats the Big Ten champion by 3 touchdowns?

I dunno. But it makes for fuckin' entertaining football, doesn't it? (oh yeah, illinois is still going BCS bowling. is it such a bad loss?)

Tomorrow is going to be a VERY interesting day.
Theres talk that LSU or USC could jump into the NCG too...that would become VERY interesting I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |

Yeah...but unlike the Superbowl (which is fun to watch because of the commercials) there aren't any super awesome commercials during the NCG. So Rose Bowl...here I come...for what ever channel you're on
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() |
It's no Stanford, but it's pretty bad. Illinois does not deserve to go to a BCS bowl and they only are because the Rose Bowl is fucking insane. FELIPE NO

With Hawaii going 12-0 I'm curious to see where they will place in the BCS
