2007 College Football

Let the shit talking begin!

Before we got too hostile, let us enjoy this Boise State vs Oklahoma game one more time.

YouTube Video

On a different note, USC is #1 in the AP polls. But then again, we all know polls are utter shit. *cough*OhioandMichigan*cough*

We do have a very strong team, with Booty returning for his final year and many of our defense coming back like Keith Rivers. We'll have to see. Sugar Bowl, here we come!

Fight on! And beat the Vandals!

That video still sends tingles up my spine. Oh, Adrian Peterson, you best do well this season. You're on quite a few of my fantasy teams. =p

Oh yeah: go Terps!

russ Sep 1, 2007 03:55 PM

Oh Michigan, poor poor Michigan :(

The preseason number 5 getting defeated in the first week, and by a DIVISION I-AA team no less. Got to suck for Michigan and its fans to kiss this year's national championship dreams goodbye so early and in such an embarrassing way.

Indeed. My friend and dad were not happy today.

russ Sep 1, 2007 11:55 PM

My favorite team, Auburn, scared me for a while there, but they pulled it out in the end. Clutch performances by the defense coupled with a lot of mental mistakes {in the form of penalties} by K-State made it so.

Yeah, it does. =\

Yay for destroying Idaho today 38-10!

But our most formidable opponent is Nebraska. That will be a fun game to watch. Beat the Huskers!

Oh, and Haha at Michigan. We must have fucked them over so hard that they lost to a I-AA team.

TheKnightOfNee Sep 2, 2007 02:27 AM

Being a Michigan State fan, I had fun watching Michigan lose while watching our team rack up points against our lowly opponent. Now I just hope to god we can beat Michigan later in the year instead of suffering the typical mid-season meltdown.

All I heard this week was Okie-State "amazing offense". BLAH!!! UGA shut them down and even more impressive was the o-line and how well they played even with 2 freshmen starters!!!

Let the real schedule begin!

Well, my team, Arizona, sucks ass again so now I'm just looking for more BCS mishaps. We need it to fail time and time again so they know that playoffs are the way to go. Just look at Appalachian State, they became the two time champion through a playoff and it's obviously legit because they took down Michigan in the Big House.

Trigunnerz Sep 8, 2007 05:07 PM

Oregon is kicking Michigan's ass 32-7 with 5 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter. The loss last week wasn't a fluke. Michigan's football program has gone down the drain.

Looking forwards to LSU and V-Tech. I really hope V-Tech wins. I really hope it will bring the whole "greatest conference is the SEC" argument more into perspective.

russ Sep 8, 2007 05:26 PM

You're just sad that the conference that your favorite team plays in only has two or maybe three better than average teams a year, while the SEC typically has five or six better than average teams a year.

Notre Dame and Michigan play each other next week. I'm sure it'll be a great game.....

lol @ VT. sorry, guys, LSU will reign supreme this year.

Slash Sep 8, 2007 11:51 PM

Oregon State got raped hardcore the other day. 34-3. Suck it Beavs!

russ Sep 9, 2007 10:21 AM

Ouch, Auburn got beat. Oh well, at least LSU smoked the shit out of Virginia Tech.

Megaman X Sep 9, 2007 10:37 AM

This was a great weekend in football. Many upsets.

Cocks beat the Dawgs. I enjoyed the game. I was very happy with our Defense in the first half. They showed much better coverage than last week when we played UL-La. Blake Mitchell didn't throw an interception! I think that was the first game in his career. Interesting game. It wasn't a complete shut out but it kept me on the edge of my seat.

Sadly, a few fans were a little upset. Thank God for the Georgia police. Nothing like a bunch of drunk frat boys...

Go Cocks. :-)

Artix Sep 9, 2007 10:38 AM

I really hope that the Fighting Irish can get some luck along with their skill and come on top of Michigan. I was suprised that Michigan has been doing so bad lately. Come on Notre Dame. Even though I'm not very confident in Notre Dame.

Diversion Sep 9, 2007 10:42 AM

Last year was the first year my team (Michigan) beat ND in a couple years, and with how shitty our season's going, I don't think much luck is needed.
