Well, Griffin's pretty much screwed up any strategy I had for my last Energy Boost by not sending in numbers. I'll use it now on a contingency thingy to make Nutty's life complicated.

- If Griffin has three states left after all the current attacks on him (mine and IC's) then attack those two states and tank the third.
- If Griffin has only two states left then attack them.
- If Griffin has only one state left then attack it, attack North Carolina, and tank Georgia.
- If Griffin has no states left then attack North Carolina and Georgia.

As for numbers, I guess I'll send in enough for two attacks.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I resign from the game, and secede all states to those who are currently attacking them.

Sorry guys, I just don't have the time right now to keep up with a game this fast-paced. I had a blast though for the time I could play. =\

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Well, I happen to still be on my way to bed from a Tales of Legendia binge, so I'll just confirm that I'm using my final energy boost to attack North Carolina and Georgia since Griffin is now dead. With Griffin resigning my ninjas feel so wasted.

It appears The_Griffin has bowed out, leaving his spoils to Identity Crisis. Yeldarb survived 2 Ninja attacks yesterday, which must be a first. orion_mk3 is poised to become a Warlord, but I need the results of his defense against Dullenplain first. Plarom sent me his attacks and defenses for today and tomorrow, but he failed to send a number for Louisiana, so if he doesn't send it by the deadline, Dullenplain will conquer that state. For the record, both Identity Crisis and Tritoch were using Ninjas yesterday (though Tritoch's failed an unusual number of times).

The item of the day is the Highly Ineffective Mongoose (HIM).

The HIM is used in the same way Tanks are used, to take 1 country, but the HIM is much more likely to sit around looking cute than actually attack. The odds of a Mongoose conquering a state are only 1 in 3.

Results:
-Tritoch/Dullenplain for Alabama: Tritoch conquers
-Tritoch gets Idaho, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Washington, Pennsylvania, and Virginia from Griffin's resignation.
-Identity Crisis gets Massachusetts and West Virginia from Griffin's resignation.
-Identity Crisis gets spoils of war 18 gil and 1 item (Energy Boost)
-orionmk3/Dullenplain for Minnesota: Dullenplain defends
-Dullenplain/Tritoch for Arkansas: Dullenplain conquers
-Dullenplain drops an atomic bomb on Maine, and the fallout drifts into New Hampshire
-Plarom/Tritoch for Idaho: Tritoch defends
-Plarom/Tritoch for Connecticut: Tritoch defends
-Plarom/Tritoch for Alabama: Plarom conquers
-Plarom/Dullenplain for Minnesota: Plarom conquers
-Tritoch/Yeldarb for North Carolina: Tritoch conquers
-Tritoch/Yeldarb for Georgia: Yeldarb defends

I was speaking idiomatically.

And with that, Yeldarb is dead. Now that we're down to 5 players, lets plan on ending this game Tuesday morning at 9am. I'd make it Monday, but I'd rather not end it with Plarom absent, since the last day requires a lot of plotting.

-Tritoch uses Tanks to take Georgia
-Tritoch gets spoils of war 33 gil and 1 item (Energy Boost)

How ya doing, buddy?

Day 4 Turn 2: Attack Maine
Day 4 Turn 3: Attack New Hampshire

orion_mk3 is officially a Warlord, and exacts 20 gil tribute in total (5 from each player).

-Dullenplain/orionmk3 for Iowa: orionmk3 defends
-Dullenplain/orionmk3 for Missouri: Dullenplain conquers
-Dullenplain/Plarom for Louisiana: Plarom defends

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Plarom left behind strict instructions to attack Maine, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Seems he's trying to conquer the state he's visiting.

Results:
-orionmk3/Dullenplain for Arkansas: orionmk3 conquers
-orionmk3/Dullenplain for Maine: orionmk3 conquers
-orionmk3/Dullenplain for New Hampshire: orionmk3 conquers

I think I'll just go the classic route today. I'm attacking Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Also, my Highly Ineffective Mongoose is going after Missouri. Go my furry, little assassin! Go forth and conquer!

It's meaningless for me to continue playing, so I'll forfeit.

Don't expect me for future games, I don't have that sort of time to plan things in this fashion.

I like how after 6 versions of this game, we still have people dropping out towards the end because "they don't have time". You'd think they would have figured that out before now.

Since in the past when a player withdrew I awarded their states to whoever was attacking them, I used that philosophy here. Since Tritoch attacked first, he wins the states by default, and he gets the spoils because his Mongoose decided to do its job.

Results:
-Plarom/Tritoch for Pennsylvania: Plarom conquers
-Plarom/Tritoch for Virginia: Plarom conquers
-Tritoch gets Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin and Iowa from Dullenplain
-Tritoch's Highly Ineffective Mongoose takes Missouri
-Tritoch gets spoils of war 5 gil and 2 items (Tanks and Energy Boost)
-orionmk3 uses Tanks to take Indiana and Ohio
-orionmk3's Highly Ineffective Mongoose lives up to its name and fails to take Missouri.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
