Well, a lot of Paladin attacks do Radiant damage (which undead are usually weak against). He just can't make them scatter like tenpins anymore.

Paladins were seriously just overloaded with crap before, which was roughly balanced with alignment requisites. You get to do everything a fighter can do, and everything a cleric can do, and some extra stuff, and you get a horse! But you must be Lawful Good.

Now that alignment is really only a fluff element (hell, most of the pantheon is Unaligned) it ceases to be a restriction, so some of that shit had to go.

It's about bloody time, I've been trying hard enough. It's not really Bob's fault though, he just suffers from a lack of proper dungeoneering experience and a naturally inquisitive nature. Plus, after we kill the crab we can make a nice meal out of it and it might have been swimming in fresh water (Despite the briney smell).
