Doujin arrange albums are not allowed unless the arranger has also composed for a game at some point in time. If you can find something that Sound Online has written the soundtrack for, then this'll be eligible.

The full album of Blaze is here. It's there because it's basically Touhou arrangement stuff. Other Comiket 69 releases, I don't know so much of.
http://bunkachou.net/Music/Blaze.rar

I'll do some research, maybe he composed for some games. But I thought since ZUN is a doujin, doujin arrangers might be an exception.

Who is "Godspeed" from this G5 Project? I think I have seen this name in the Zepher Cradle disc as well, one of the better doujin arrangement CDs.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Godspeed (a.k.a. Vivix) is one of the members of the doujin group Serenade. His website can be found here. Oh, and thanks for the album link.

A good number of outstanding tracks this week.

(2 points) Turrican Original Video Game Soundtrack - Freedom
Why does this sound like something from the 80s? If not for other strong selections this week, this would get 3 points. Or more.

(2 points)Touhou Youyou Yumi ~Embodiment of Scarlet Devil~ (Game Rip) - The Maid and the Pocket Watch of Blood (WAV Version)
The "Freedom" upset. Always liked the implementation of the piano in ZUN's pieces and this is no exception.

(1 point) SimCity 4 Rush Hour Soundtrack - Bumper to Bumper
There go my chances of nominating "The Wheels of Progress" from the same soundtrack. In any case, this is one very nifty track that manages to hold my interest for its entire length.

(1 point) Guild Wars Special Edition Soundtrack - A Warrior's Heart (Bonus)
Pretty good Soule track. Nice sweeping melody that stirs a certain amount of patriotic fervour.

I was speaking idiomatically.
I think therefore I am... I think.

I've removed my nomination from the queue. I've been trying to decide which track I really like best and just can't decide. Maybe it'll be the one I nominated, maybe not. But until my gut tells me for sure, I'm gonna leave the slot blank.

I edited my earlier post to reflect this. Damn indecisiveness.

Really, really solid week. The hiatus seems to have done this contest good.

(3 points) Turrican Original Video Game Soundtrack - Freedom: It doesn't seem as incredible over repated listens. Nevertheless, this is the best Megaman tune never created for that game.

(2 points) SimCity 4 Rush Hour Soundtrack - Bumper to Bumper: On the other hand, better and better with each listen. Its minmalism comes to life once you get used to its nuances.

(1 points) Baku Bomberman OST - Green Garden: Now I'm pulling straws here. The rest are all deserving of a point. Nostalgia wins out for me with this track (vividly remember it while playing Bomberman 64), and I'm a sucker for empty-calorie melodies like this one.

Every other track is really good. If I had more points I would give them.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Man, I've been really derelict in my voting duty this week. Mayhap it is because, unlike most of the other posters, I found the week to be quite meidocre. Comments will be quick and dirty.

Guild Wars Special Edition Soundtrack - A Warrior's Heart (Bonus) It's orchestral, but also rather plain. There are far better tracks in Guild Wars.

Phantom Brave ~Original sound track~ - The End of This Passionate Feeling I've never really liked any of the music from the Nippon Itchy (or however the hell you spell that) series, just like I've never liked the games themselves. I can't put my finger on why, at least not when typing like a devil to squeak in under a deadline.

SimCity 4 Rush Hour Soundtrack - Bumper to Bumper More or less identical to the other Sim City tracks nominated over the years--techno ambiance that's done well but isn't really melodic. I couldn't shake the feeling that I'd heard this before.

The Baku Bomb!!! Baku Bomberman Original Soundtrack - Green Garden Bouncy bouncy bouncy bouncy fun fun fun fun fun. The most wonderful thing about Baku Bomberman tracks is: this is the only one.

Touhou Youyou Yumi ~Embodiment of Scarlet Devil~ (Game Rip) - The Maid and the Pocket Watch of Blood (WAV Version) Every instrument seemed out of sync in this one, for me. It sounded like all the different sections were a beat behind of a beat ahead of the others. Ick.

Turrican Original Video Game Soundtrack - Freedom The word that comes to my mind above all others is "decent."

WILD ARMS the 4th Detonator Original Score - Time and Rocks Piled Up This quirky and accomplished piece is easily the frontrunner, for me.

Yo! Noid (Game Rip) - Area 13 and 14 This nominations gets bonus points for obscurity and pop culture references. Too bad the tune itself is rather anonymous and unmemorable.

The Point Spread
3 - Wild Arms
2 - Turrican
1 - Baku Bomberman

There's nowhere I can't reach.

F U Crash for stealing my winning nomination

Oh, and finally a week where my favorite song wins... the last week where that happened was... 34 I believe.

Oh, and interesting, Chris Huelsbeck has the highest success rate of songs nominated in SOTW, with 2 of 3 songs placing 1st, and the other coming in 2nd, but losing by an astounding 0 points.

I am actually surprised it won. The first several days didn't look so good, what with Phantom Brave and Time & Rocks pulling in a lot of support. I was ready to accept a Bronze or even 4th place.

I guess I stopped counting points around Thursday or so. I am quite relieved though, since, of all the tracks I've ever nominated, Freedom is by far my favorite.

But a much appreciated thanks to everyone who voted for it. And especially to Darkcomet, who apparently likes it as much as I do.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?
