I like how the majority of the people who posted here don't mention what his or her name IS.
Did you actually read the majority of the posts? Because over half the people who posted did mention their name. And even if they didn't, why does it matter? The question can be answered without having to actually state your name, and some people just don't feel comfortable putting their real name on the internet.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

If ever I want to change my name, I'd change my very first name. Although Spanish in nature, I want it something that sounds pleasing as I usually end up using my middle name.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Tch, if you want to get tenchnical...

I did read all the posts. Guess I just noticed the ones that didn't mention his/her name, I suppose. (Maybe I should change it to "a lot" then?)

Why does it matter? Why else? It's 'cause I'm curious why they feel that way about his/her own name, silly!

I've never wanted to change my name. I like it (maybe partially due to how well it rolls of the tongue). However, due to my noticing that a fair number of people (at least on campus) have the same first name as me, I've contemplated going by my middle name. I won't do it, though, as I know the complications that can occur.

If I had to change my name, I don't know what I would choose. I've never really thought about it.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Quinton Andrew Klabon? Nah. Besides, any desire to have other names is usually sated by nicknames, creating video games, and having internet/message board names.

I used to want to change my name when I was little. I always wanted something very unique since Jamie isn't very unique. But now,I wouldn't want to change it. I've grown to like it and my parents picked it out so that makes it special to me. ;d

I've never quite liked my first name, but however as I got to name my little sister when she was born, I think I took that as my compromise for having a name I didn't like. (Sorry Mom/Dad, don't mean to say your naming sucks, I just don't think I live up very well to my [first] name.)

It should be noted, however, that when I was like 10 years old I wanted the name "Michael" for some reason. To this day I have tried to rationalize why that was but the bottom line is I still don't know why that was an adamant wish of mine. :/
I think it's pretty obvious.

Damn right I've wanted to change my name, and in fact, I'm in the process of doing so. I can't stand my last name since it's derived from my biological father, and I feel it taints my very being when I write it down on my accomplishments.

Marshall Scott Hoepfner...

Sorry. It has too nice of a ring to it IMHO =D I'm proud of my German heritage, and my first as well as middle name are tied to family history.

Marshall was my father's mother's original last name.

Scott was the name of one of said mother's siblings, I believe.

Coincidentally, my hair is identical to my grandma's, and I'm built just like her brothers. None of 'em were under 6'2", yet, ironically, she was around 5' even =p

If in the next few years, I'm lonely and really really wanna change my name, it's gonna be changed to Valeska.

When your name is as awesome as mine, Reagan Ulysses Smith-Sanderson, you don't even consider something like changing it.

Wait no, that isn't accurate. Yeah, I don't really like the name Russell, but that's what I've been stuck with, and it seems kind of silly to change it. Pretty much everyone knows me as Russell or Russ so even if I did change it, I would have to like change jobs, move, and get all new friends for anyone to actually use my new name. I figure most people instead of changing their own name, just wait until they have kids and then give their kid the name that they would want for themselves. That's what I'm going to do at least. Of course my son will be named Alexander. He already sounds like a brat.

Just my middle and last name Richard Allen Hubbard is kinda dull. I'd change it to Richard Alonso Highborn. Not to much of a dramatic change but it is classy.

Personally, I never really considered changing Victoria 'Tori' Iris Ann (Really long last name excluded) for anything.

I mean sure, the nurses take bets on how to say my family's last name (People don't get the D is silent or spell it completely wrong for some reason.), I get called Vicky sometimes which still annoys the heck out of me (It doesn't annoy me as much as it did in preschool, but you get the point ), People either Confuse my middle name as being part of my first name or adding an E to the end of Ann. But despite all this I've come to like my name.

I admit, I did, and still kinda do, hate my last name. But what the heck, maiden names are temporary anyways.

I'm only displeased of my middle name "Tuomas", which has been running in my father's family line for 4th generation now.
I don't really care for traditions, but it would be a shame to break it now, so maybe I'll pass it on for one of my future kids. Not like I use the middle name anywhere anyway (And I'll probably give my kids 3-4 extra middle names just for laughs).
So unless mafia comes after me, doubt I'll change it~

I rather like my Name. Of course, who hasn't thought of changing their name? If I had to change it I thought I would change it to something like my online name. However, I love my name, so I'm not worrying aout it.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Hmm... well, I actually like my first name so much that I don't think I would want to change it... if I had to, then I would change it to Alex or something like that. Anyone guess what my first name actually is?

But, yeah, same as Acacia, its hard to imagine having a different name when you have had the same one since you were born.

I like my first name. But I hate my last name. I'd give anything to remove my last name and have it changed to my moms last name. Why? I wont nothing to do with the family my last name is associated with.

I love my last name, Potts, but I'm not too fond of my first name. For some reason, I feel awkward saying "Jeremy", and my middle name "James" is a bit to common for my liking. But my parents gave it to me and I've lived 18 years with it, so I might as well go all the way.

I've often thought about changing my first name, I can even swap my first name to one of my two middles names apparently, allowing me to keep my first name which I'm rather found of anyway.

Hehe, wow people sure have a wide arrange of name choices.

I personally would have killed to change my name when i was little. Being an Elizabeth you find about 4 others each time you move up a grade and about nine others with it as a middle name. I hate popularity and i HATE the way Elizabeth sounds. Also, it's meaning is so boring and so bibical.

But if i where to change it i would change it to Lizzie. (which is what i go by). Yes i know it's just the nickname to Elizabeth but i can't honestly imagine being called by anything else. And it flows well with the rest of my name.

But if you wanted me to be creative: Reno. I'd change it to Reno.

When I was a kid I wanted to change it... never knew what to though. It would always irritate me when people spelled my name wrong. My parents gave me the kind of unique spelling of 'Allyson'. But everyone wants to spell it 'Alison'. I get really touchy about it. As for my middle name, I like it... Beth. And my last name... well, its the most common name in the united states. I wont regret getting rid of it form something more unique. Anyone want to take a guess?
